I work in healthcare and needless to say getting enough rest is crucial. As the work began to takes its toll and insomnia started to run rampant, I found this. Thank you. I'm sleeping better. The problem with a lot of these thunder storm videos is the thunder never stops, but in nature, thunder DOES give way to rain for a few minute before it strikes again.
This one in specific is just good vibes. It is as if you've prayed on it.

Hey guys, I’ve came here to listen to these sounds as part of my chronic pain. I’ve been really suffering not having any physio because of the lockdown .. as much of having a lockdown is keeping me safe from the virus , it’s also killing me with pain . Me too Louise... I suffer from Fibromyalgia as well as ongoing nerve pain in my lower back and legs... I had back surgery few months ago and had to stop PT because of the virus. But insomnia has plagued me since college and this has helped the last 2 months to sleep... thank you as it reminds me of my home in Jamaica during the rainy month of June

I don't know if anyone will ever read this comment, but I'll write it anyway, more to myself I guess.
You can be happy anywhere you are, you don't need anyone's approval, you are enough, you are strong, other people can be part of your journey, but they can't and never will be destination. Never put your happiness in another person's hands, it doesn't work like that, it's more like a state of mind, but you get to make it, not anyone but you. You can be happy in a small cottage, you can be happy in a big city, as long as you are a friend to yourself. You're loved and worthy, don't allow others to make you believe otherwise. Reminds me of growing up in Jamaica and playing in the rain amongst the Banana, Plantain and Papaya trees. The only things missing are the Zinc roofs with the sound of rain pounding away. I miss the tropics...

Ice been falling asleep to thunderstorms on UA-cam for almost 2yrs (about 700 nights) and this is BY FAR THEE BEST 😴 🙌 😍 👏
Surround sound on, rain video on, pretending it's a window, lol, and fan going, cuddled in big soft blankets, best sleep I had in a long time. Reminds me of camping, it never fails, we go to a campground every August and it rains all night, 4 times already, 4 years in a row. I always open the trailer window to hear the rain and love the sound of rain on metal roof of trailer. Storms all night and beautiful during afternoon and evenings. This video reminds me of that.
What I love about rain is not longer only the rain itself, but the fact that it has so many awesomely great effects on human beings. Its just so fascinating when you think about it. It helps so many of us to stay somewhat healthy and vital. While so many others of us human beings most likely want their brains toasted in sun like addicts where you feel low, powerless and overall wet and sweaty. I never were crazy about the sun, although I neither was crazy for rain. But when you move out from parents home and for years you didnt really notice but then you feel it hasnt much rained a while, and suddenly you desire a good rain and thunderstorm. and then you realize how much it relaxes you and make you overall calm. And then you sit here and wonder how can there be so many humans crying about a little bit of rain, when a loooot more, pretty much like in the video, can have this awesome and nice effects on us?
Sure there are floods and catarophes, but come on...what do you want more? a heatwave which you basically can never escape without enough money to cool you down with machines and all...or just a good and save roof and walls that protect you from extremes in terms of a thunderstorm. Dont think I want to say a flood isnt bad, but its not that a flood is very common isnt it? A heatwave on the other hand is pretty tough and there are lots of them through summers worldwide tendency: rising!
I dont know exactly why it felt I had to write this, but I had to let it out. Felt pretty important though. I hope you could understand me with my self-taught english without ever! using a book to learn it from like with grammar and all. :D

Same here in Queensland Australia, we usually get rain and storms more in the winter but it rarely storms and when it rains it's usually just one or two quick showers. When we have a few days or even a whole day of rain we take advantage of the sounds. The people in England can't agree though, they be over there wishin' it stopped.
