- The October update from the developers will bring us a new map generation. With it, Rust will introduce new canyons, oases, new rocks, surface caves, anvil-shaped stones, and much more. I love building bases in Rust, so I’ve prepared the NEW GOD ROCK BASE (100 ROCKETS) - Rust base design.

We took the god rock over by blocking the thight end with a legacy shelter, and a temporary TC on the other end, easy early game build privilege ❤

I just raided a base that's extremely similar to this. It was a pain in the balls. I only got halfway in the base. I hade to come back with a ridiculous amount of c4 and rockets to finish him off.
I built it yesterday... I made some improvements and today I will build a compound! Thanks
What servers can you practice building with rock formations?
I love ur design, just made the base even more unraidable. I had to add multiple bunkers because the terrain wanted me to build higher foundations when i wanted to build out of the cave. I found a sick cave with 9 walls to the back with minimum upkeep because the entrance was so small. Ur attic did not work, because my cave was pretty low, but because of that i did not need to build 2 up most of the time.
Build a compound around it, outertcs with turretpots and 2 flank towers.
Its just insane what these rocks provide. Your designt really helped me getting a better understanding for the buildout and ur shooting floor rocks. Wish you could see what i've done here!

Since these rocks are constantly taken and I out of the last 15 wipes I played I was only able to find ONE not taken, can you do a base with a Horse Shoe / Throne rock? You can usually find available ones if you look hard enough.

The server I play has had these formations for about a year. Regularly build 100+ rocket surface level cave bunkers. My base last wipe got raided 5 times. Each time they went about 40 rockets deep for no loot. Eventually, I put a sign that read "Welcome to Hell" about 4 doors and 12 auto turrets in. Can't wait for everyone to try it. I'm sure Willjum and Tokyo will go crazy

@@C4T370 -2stoned servers. The owner creates the best custom monuments I've ever seen. I usually play the duo or trio server. Those are the only two that hold a decent population.

You should design a bunker base with a collapsing floor for secret loot inside the core. I don’t think it’s possible to build one with a 2 x 2. However, I have made it work with a 3 x 3 with an oil refinery.
This base looks like a fun base you could switch up your playing style in a biweekly or a monthly, I literally saw one of these god rock formations yesterday and was gonna build in it but it was too close to harbor 😢

I have been using the scarab since its release i love the base but the up and over entrance sucks but its worth the added protection. i just wish it was a little stronger could you make an updated version? maybe with a better compound or roof?

Also you could try to make a farmbase on the outside of the base, you may think you need watercatchers to fill up your farm, but you dont!
you can simple make a pump station near the newest rivers, connect 3 pumps into a barrel, from the barrel into a car with a watertank, disconnect the waterbarrel and drive the car home, and it will keep filling up :D
This way u can have farms all over the map^^, only problem is the connection between the car and pump will be disconnected after a server restart. so you gotta redo the process :)
This is how ive been having a farm even if you live in the middle of nowhere :)

I would have thought it would be the opposite. It’s probably good if his YT videos are better, or maybe just as good at least.
It’s a difficult position to be in. Imagine if the YT videos and bases were worse? Then he would be showing everyone his worse bases in worse quality and asking people to trust him that his Patreon ones were better.

This base takes 0 rockets to raid.
It has a huge weakness. Only one exit. All you have to do is place 3 turrets outside facing this base exits. Since enemy player cant leave and use shooting floor as turrets will instanty shoot at them. This prevents the player from farming upkeep. And to make it even more anoying so they cant aim, you can use flicker lights as it will blind them.
There is a way to counter this, but i am not telling :D
Multi tc/external tcs would instantly counter this
just tc so you have built priv, not that difficult
the way to counter this is TC griefing the whole area
@@ohgoditsjames94 People are cheap on external tcs and its usualy just stone 10 satchel charges and 1 molotov while the owner is away from base and you can easy deal with them.
You only need a small area to setup anyway.
Heck a skilled player will use your external Tc as a back cover from your shooting floor and they will simply build up when they take over the tc.
But no...solution is more simple.
Just make a door that goes on top to other side. I am not sure if you can use large wood walls on top of the rock, but if it works, its even easier to counter turrets.
Players realy dont know how to make pillboxes in rust ;P

Just built this base to full capacity.
Series of events:
Got fully raided to core door path night one. (Re raided and re secured)
Got fully raided to core door path night two. (Re raided and re secured)
Got fully raided to core door path night three. (Gave up and hung myself)
0 out of 10 for offline defense.
Dude had the same problem, totally agree this base has terrible offline defense.

I would recommend not closing the back but using it as a second entrance. You wont lose much of the raid protection maybe just 1 Metal wall for 1 Door so its fine

Mate they won't go through doors so no it's not 100 rockets , there is a way to make a ton of Bunkers inside that cave which is OP af
if they go through walls is basiclly the same cost, 8metal walls + 2 hqm
@@Timm_official They won't go all walls mate but they will def get some doors and splash to get through , I would say 40 rockets will do the job to core and btw he built tc way on the back , which means raiding from the back costs less
@@drlu3823 It's okay if you can't see, but both ways through walls are 10+, so yes, it's still around 100 rockets. We're nowhere near 40 rockets. Go rewatch.
