Good actors know how to master their feelings. This is the primary capacity an actor must have, an ability they improve in the Drama University. When someone gets into a role, as an actor, he/she has to repeat the scene mentally many times before acting it.
But in these interviews it's quite delightful seeing them embarrassed a little about some new things they don't master enough, lacking systematic practice. Practice made them feel at ease with each other.They worked together for years.

Uh... that's quite a big ask of any director. It may be their body but it's his film.
Interesting how they're attached and detached at the same time, like Buddhist monks. Whether that is actual or not, I can't tell, they could be acting at being detached when they're really having natural and uncontrollable hormonal reactions to have sex. But doing anything on set that wasn't scripted and sexually provocative with the other might ruin their career, and they're practiced as professional actors to handle it.
