Bette Midler walked in to my life on August 5 , 1980. @ sunset sound studios . I still remember when Bette spent a lot of her time with me , And when she took her shoes off sitting very close to me . oh my feet are so sore she said to me , while rubbing her foot then the other one taking off her shoes one by one . She came up to me and asked me do you mind if I sit next to you ? With a great big happy look on her face . No be my Guess I said . I was not star struck I just saw Bette Midler as a very nice woman spending her time with me ..she said she would be back and she came back talking to me thru out the day .. I just wish Bette Fans I had a camera then .I'm sure Bette Wouldn't mind taking pictures of us ... She really inspired me to write a song about us ...I can still see us together , just like it was Yesterday . I can't tell you all everything what we did or said that would take me forever to write ....
