Liam and crew. I am new to the world of golf aged 52. I've just got off the course at my club this afternoon after a dreadful 9 holes, had intended to play 18, and have come back to this. You lot single handedly restore my faith that one day I'll actually be able to play this wonderful game to a standard that I'll be proud of. Your videos are brilliant, end of. Mateship, camaraderie, hilarity and above all, just downright FUN. You've done wonders with great production and camera work (props to Nik and Pres). You are, in short, a fabulous advert for recreational golf. Love you lot.

@@johnlydon5885 you will be fine, never quit, take a time out, reset and say the back nine will be better than the front nine, never quit as your last memory will be a bad one and it will carry over.

@garystride5200 Thanks Gary. Was by myself today and just wasn't feeling it. It's the good shots that keep me coming back. My usual playing partner is away so back at it next week. Its my short game that's killing me at the mo. Chipping and putting practice tomorrow!

This tour is really hotting up to a climax. Graham has a knack to find a positive to each and every shot whilst his game has come into its own away from the links. Mr B finds his own way to play the game despite all the brickbats, and Liam is striking his irons as well as ever. Even the photo team are getting in on the action! Well done the whole of the Golf Mates Team. I want to play Aboyne.

Once again a gret video Golf Mates team. I can't tell which is better, the course, the golf or the banter. Actually I can, the courses are spectacular, but it's a photo for golf and banter. I would love to have a round with graham because I could blame my flawed game on my chest heaving with laughter while trying to swing. Will be over in July and have registered for the RDGW. Again Liam, thanks for doing the research.

What a beautiful course and location. Spent many years visiting there when my dad was with us and ran the chipper in Macduff next to Banff and Royal Tarlair. Love too Mr B’s unique pronunciation of Bal-Morale (as many US visitors were heard to say it). Brilliant.😂This trip is bringing back a lot of memories. Great to see Graham finally get a birdie, he worked bloody hard for that. Well done Big Dog! Can’t wait for the next instalment, gents.

If you like your fishing Liam, just past Banchory, is a place called the Bridge of Feugh, where you can spend hrs just standing on the bridge watching Salmon leaping up the waterfall, and a nice little tea room by the car park,

Glad that you are enjoying Aberdeenshire - very lucky up here that we have over 50 golf courses within an hours drive of Aberdeen - all I can say Golf Mates is that this is just scratching the surface
Great selection of courses around Aberdeenshire and Moray - pretty much one at every small town (or two if you go to Buckie!). All friendly, accessible and you'll likely find someone joining in for a few holes if you are on your own.
