To be honest, this song should make you feel like you're watching a love drama and then the OST plays, which is what I felt more from Team B's performance- they make you feel like you're falling in love through the song and the dance..
@@river1732 guanyou’s vocal is indeed impressive from group A which is why he’s the best trainee for Cinderella, for me its better left a tie since Team B is creative with additional dance part and be able to perform the way the song is (cutely charming) while their center was sick for days isn’t less impressive.
I think she really just meant that they were more fluid. I think both she and Ronghao Li picked Team B because they liked the performance better as a whole in terms of how they presented the feeling and energy of the song. Will and Chris were more focused on how in-sync the movements in the chorus were and they liked the singing better in Team A. But those too are somewhat subjective judgments (and no more objective than the judgments of Ronghao Li and Lisa). I think the idea that Lisa just picked Team B because she likes X is nonsense. She's always been very frank (last year and this year). When she has high expectations of a particular trainee, she will praise them consistently, but if they ever do a sub-par performance she'll point it out. Last year, I think Snow Kong was one of her early favorites. But when Snow Kong got into a slump, Lisa didn't just pretend that everything was great. She pointed it out clearly. Nobody gets a free pass from Lisa just because they are a "favorite". Her "favorites" are trainees who work hard and consistently perform excellently.

To me personally, the reason why Lisa picked Team B is because Team B is a bit creative and experimenting with choreography and created this fun environment so suitable for the song. similar to Liang Sen’s Tou Tou performance, every trainees in Team B considered aren’t fit well for the song choice, beside Jacky, but the way they were able to channel the energy of the song despite that is also impressive. I was blushing red from start to finish watching their performance, by this i’m guessing Lisa laoshi also felt what I felt. Team A, is indeed more in sync. Everyone suited the song just well, not to mention their facial expressions are on point. Neil was ACE, definitely deserved his best trainee title. but something is just missing and less interesting, 当然, thats just my personal evaluation. And again, I think it was better of left as a tie. we all know Lisa doesn’t just pick a favourite trainee based on nothing, its a survival show anyway. you’re good, then you deserve to stay. you’re not good, then go home. a survival show is always harsh like this. X is a very stable trainee and very determined to be better. And Lisa saw it too.

The trainees weren't wrong when they said that xingxing looked like he was going to kidnap Cinderella 🤣 His charm is on another level! His expression is super on point as always, like instead of doing it in a cute style, this whole group managed to perform in a manly & charming way and that suits this song the best! I repeated this for countless time already & of course all eyes on Xingxing 👀 but everyone else did super great too! Team B should have won, I liked their overall vibe and they just looked all well put together while team A some trainee performance was off. I just felt that they were being biased when they picked team A and how is it that everyone in team A ended up voting for team A (Neil's team).

I keep watching the reactions of not just the trainees but the mentors and LISA is well equipped, she has what is known in the dancing community as a muscle memory, those who posses this trait are PHENOMENAL dancers and literally are on a whole other level went it comes to dance, Muscle memory is the ability to reproduce a movement without a conscious thought, to achieve this it takes repartition repartition repartition, everyone is amazed when she picks up dances extremely quickly this is why, when you see BP at dance practice they have rehearsed not only M/V dance but the stage dance as well which is a little different, and if you think of all the dances that connect to a song, the amount of muscle memory you need is staggering. take a look at BTS and their dance practices, J-Hope for me is the best male dancer among all the Idols. Can you imagine if when she is no longer BP she was to open her own company, they would be line up for miles to get in.

I think some people could get the wrong impression that she's showing favoritism (which is actually quite different from having "favorites"). I don't think for a minute that she would give higher marks to X or his team just because she likes him. She likes him because he is consistently demonstrating excellence and charisma in performance after performance. She's simply recognizing excellence when it deserves excellence. There are several other trainees who she seems to feel the same way about. She looks forward to their performances because she expects a lot from them. But if they don't perform well, I think she'll point it out and if they're against someone who puts in a better performance, she'll recognize the better performance. I think the "favorite" thing started when X got 0 (zero) votes from the "youth producers". They showed that video where Lisa was shocked and indicated she couldn't understand the result because X was her favorite. By favorite, she clearly meant that his work ethic and performances were some of the most excellent in her view and it therefore seemed very strange that X would get zero points. I don't think she ever meant that she would always be biased regardless of whether he performed well.

tbh after i watched both groups, i think X's team is better too. Only the chorus part, when Owen did the hands part different than the others is spoiled (actually team A Xu Ziwei did the same mistake in first chorus). Other than that, the creativity that they modified the choreo, more neat, the rap part, the fluidity and their style. All points to team B !!
i think it's hard to watch without bias especially when you favorite trainee is in the group but i think both teams did great however portrayed different feeling. Team A went for cute image instead, changing the theme from charismatic one while team B did great as they go to darker, sexier side. Both did great! Let's vote for our favorite trainees until the end. Who knows? maybe they'll end up in same groups in next challenge?
To some extent, for musical and dance performances, there will always be (and really has to be) a subjective factor based on whether the performance and performers are charismatic and able to give you a positive impact that you can feel. I don't think Lisa and Ronghao Li picked team B just because X was in the team. They liked the overall vibe, flow and feeling that Team B gave in their performance. Those reasons are at least as valid as the reasons given by Will and Chris for choosing Team A. I'm sure that if Team B as a whole did not perform well and failed to create a charismatic and impactful stage, Lisa would not have picked Team B. By "favor" and "favorite" in the context of this show, I think these types of words just mean that Lisa recognizes the consistently high level of excellence, charisma and hard work of trainees who particularly exhibit those qualities time after time. The show is all about recognizing and encouraging such potential. I don't think she has a bias in a way where she will give higher marks to a trainee who performs worse than another trainee just because she likes him more. It's like last year, when she was constantly praising An Qi ("Baby Monster"). It wasn't because she just liked An Qi for no reason. It was because An Qi was always showing the most excellent skills and abilities time after time. She also liked to put the spotlight on Lu Keran whenever possible because Lu Keran was an excellent performer who was getting a lot less spotlight than she deserved. Also, the way some people are talking makes it sound like Lisa is just irrationally picking X as a "favorite". It's clear that there are several contestants/trainees who are her "favorites" just because they are consistently excellent and deserve to be praised. If you've watched the show for a long time, you know that the show itself often ignores some of the most talented, hard-working contestants to focus on and build up some others who aren't really that good as performers. I think Lisa is sometimes able to counter-balance that by helping put the spotlight on really excellent performers who otherwise would be ignored.

I think she really just meant that they were more fluid. I think both she and Ronghao Li picked Team B because they liked the performance better as a whole in terms of how they presented the feeling and energy of the song. Will and Chris were more focused on how in-sync the movements in the chorus were and they liked the singing better in Team A. But those too are somewhat subjective judgments (and no more objective than the judgments of Ronghao Li and Lisa).
I think the idea that Lisa just picked Team B because she likes X is nonsense. She's always been very frank (last year and this year). When she has high expectations of a particular trainee, she will praise them consistently, but if they ever do a sub-par performance she'll point it out. Last year, I think Snow Kong was one of her early favorites. But when Snow Kong got into a slump, Lisa didn't just pretend that everything was great. She pointed it out clearly. Nobody gets a free pass from Lisa just because they are a "favorite". Her "favorites" are trainees who work hard and consistently perform excellently.

yes, if you’ve followed the show since last year, its not news anymore that Lisa has always been strict as a mentor. if she found you boring, she’ll pointed that out. if she saw something less appealing, she’ll help to improve. if she needed to be harsh, then she would be. Lisa has always like X and Liang Sen because both are hardworking, unique, both are deserving the praise. overall, the two has always been stable trainees and haven’t been lacking so far. X is brilliant in dancing, he was a street dancer and he sings well. his tone of voice is fitting for rap as well. And Liang Sen is a all rounder. To me personally, the reason why Lisa picked Team B is because Team B is a bit creative and experimenting with choreography and created this fun environment so suitable for the song. similar to Liang Sen’s Tou Tou performance, every trainees in Team B considered aren’t fit well for the song choice, beside Jacky, but the way they were able to channel the energy of the song despite that is also impressive. I was blushing red from start to finish watching their performance, by this i’m guessing Lisa laoshi also felt what I felt.
Team A, is indeed more in sync. Everyone suited the song just well, not to mention their facial expressions are on point. Neil was ACE, definitely deserved his best trainee title. but something is just missing and less interesting, 当然, thats just my personal evaluation. And again, I think it was better of left as a tie.
we all know Lisa doesn’t just pick a favourite trainee based on nothing, its a survival show anyway. you’re good, then you deserve to stay. you’re not good, then go home. a survival show is always harsh like this. X is a very stable trainee and very determined to be better. And Lisa saw it too.

The trainees weren't wrong when they said that xingxing looked like he was going to kidnap Cinderella 🤣 His charm is on another level! His expression is super on point as always, like instead of doing it in a cute style, this whole group managed to perform in a manly & charming way and that suits this song the best!
I repeated this for countless time already & of course all eyes on Xingxing 👀 but everyone else did super great too! No wonder Lisa voted for this one, they gave out exactly the same feeling that she demanded from this song✨✨The butterflies 🦋🦋🦋
Team B should have won, I liked their overall vibe and they just looked all well put together while team A some trainee performance was off. I just felt that they were being biased when they picked team A and how is it that everyone in team A ended up voting for team A (Neil's team).

I keep watching the reactions of not just the trainees but the mentors and LISA is well equipped, she has what is known in the dancing community as a muscle memory, those who posses this trait are PHENOMENAL dancers and literally are on a whole other level went it comes to dance, Muscle memory is the ability to reproduce a movement without a conscious thought, to achieve this it takes repartition repartition repartition, everyone is amazed when she picks up dances extremely quickly this is why, when you see BP at dance practice they have rehearsed not only M/V dance but the stage dance as well which is a little different, and if you think of all the dances that connect to a song, the amount of muscle memory you need is staggering. take a look at BTS and their dance practices, J-Hope for me is the best male dancer among all the Idols. Can you imagine if when she is no longer BP she was to open her own company, they would be line up for miles to get in.
Some of the Choreographers who met Lisa admitted she has an extraordinary muscle memory that is why they deemed her as a genius dancer.

I think some people could get the wrong impression that she's showing favoritism (which is actually quite different from having "favorites"). I don't think for a minute that she would give higher marks to X or his team just because she likes him. She likes him because he is consistently demonstrating excellence and charisma in performance after performance. She's simply recognizing excellence when it deserves excellence. There are several other trainees who she seems to feel the same way about. She looks forward to their performances because she expects a lot from them. But if they don't perform well, I think she'll point it out and if they're against someone who puts in a better performance, she'll recognize the better performance.
I think the "favorite" thing started when X got 0 (zero) votes from the "youth producers". They showed that video where Lisa was shocked and indicated she couldn't understand the result because X was her favorite. By favorite, she clearly meant that his work ethic and performances were some of the most excellent in her view and it therefore seemed very strange that X would get zero points. I don't think she ever meant that she would always be biased regardless of whether he performed well.
Totally agree with your statement. Team B also showed more “falling in love” vibe while Team A showed “cutesy” vibe. Which is why Lisa feel that Team B fits the song more.

The dance in the chorus is so LIT
tbh after i watched both groups, i think X's team is better too. Only the chorus part, when Owen did the hands part different than the others is spoiled (actually team A Xu Ziwei did the same mistake in first chorus). Other than that, the creativity that they modified the choreo, more neat, the rap part, the fluidity and their style. All points to team B !!
i think it's hard to watch without bias especially when you favorite trainee is in the group but i think both teams did great however portrayed different feeling. Team A went for cute image instead, changing the theme from charismatic one while team B did great as they go to darker, sexier side. Both did great! Let's vote for our favorite trainees until the end. Who knows? maybe they'll end up in same groups in next challenge?
To some extent, for musical and dance performances, there will always be (and really has to be) a subjective factor based on whether the performance and performers are charismatic and able to give you a positive impact that you can feel. I don't think Lisa and Ronghao Li picked team B just because X was in the team. They liked the overall vibe, flow and feeling that Team B gave in their performance. Those reasons are at least as valid as the reasons given by Will and Chris for choosing Team A.
I'm sure that if Team B as a whole did not perform well and failed to create a charismatic and impactful stage, Lisa would not have picked Team B.
By "favor" and "favorite" in the context of this show, I think these types of words just mean that Lisa recognizes the consistently high level of excellence, charisma and hard work of trainees who particularly exhibit those qualities time after time. The show is all about recognizing and encouraging such potential. I don't think she has a bias in a way where she will give higher marks to a trainee who performs worse than another trainee just because she likes him more. It's like last year, when she was constantly praising An Qi ("Baby Monster"). It wasn't because she just liked An Qi for no reason. It was because An Qi was always showing the most excellent skills and abilities time after time. She also liked to put the spotlight on Lu Keran whenever possible because Lu Keran was an excellent performer who was getting a lot less spotlight than she deserved.
Also, the way some people are talking makes it sound like Lisa is just irrationally picking X as a "favorite". It's clear that there are several contestants/trainees who are her "favorites" just because they are consistently excellent and deserve to be praised. If you've watched the show for a long time, you know that the show itself often ignores some of the most talented, hard-working contestants to focus on and build up some others who aren't really that good as performers. I think Lisa is sometimes able to counter-balance that by helping put the spotlight on really excellent performers who otherwise would be ignored.
