Berry and Smokey were the ORIGINAL dynamic duo when it came to making music 🎶. They have a long list of superstars that they introduced to the world 🌎. Including the King of pop himself.

My favorite museum is Hitsville. I can only imagine what a fun and exciting place Detroit must’ve been as Motown was growing...

I took the tour of Hitsville USA a few years back and really loved it. For me, it was great being in the studio where so many great recordings were created. Thanks Berry Gordy, Smokey, and the gang in Detroit.

There's a whole thing with Mr. Gordy and Smokey about an hour or so I forget what it's called but that 3 minutes of them together is actually just a portion of the actual story. It's really great to hear and watch the hour of them reminiscing.

Barry Gordy and smokey Robinson with infamous names when back in their time which still is NOW must and absolutely were made to tell their story to make the record label sell records and selling was definitely real sells back then unlike now. sell their soul only to be completed by a reaction of a standing ovation done in different ways to get their soul back also and not only and much much more then that balancing their home life and people taking from them completely with their needs not being addressed just because of genius with gifts and pure sensibility born with talent another way of ignorant prejudice without color attachment. Still legendary always to be remembered in HEAven NOW

Two absolute Legends who created a musical Dynasty/Phenomena that will last to the end of time. It's just a shame many Motown artists didn't get their royalties and were mistreated, such as Florence Ballard and Mary Wells.

The fact that Berry still alive in 2024 is incredible he’s a walking living breathing Library.. Crazy to think he was born the same year as Dr King reminds you the harsh Jim Crow era wasn’t really that long ago

The comment made in colum 6, letter t is right about the comment of John leggen. And there is a real soul deficit of black soul artist period. Somehow with in the last 30 years or so the black folks have dropped the ball big time.

You know great music and song writing has fell off when you have a John Fake as wanna be ,will never be Legend commenting on greatness! i could see maybe Stevie or Glady's knight..even Lionel Ritchie! John is not the on e to comment about great song and song writing! Smokey has more talent in a strand of his hair than john has in his whole body.. i would rate john piano playing, song writing and vocal skills equal to a 6 yr old that can barely play 3 blind mice! now that;s TALENT! LOL! he's all we have as a soul singer/ artist and it's so bad. bruno mars wins the best R&B category and he Hispanic! yes! We have a soul music crisis ! can the media find someone else with real talent to do interviews concerning True Music icons! nobody runs in the house , when they say! John legends on TV! LOL! a Marvin Gaye if he was still alive! hell yehh!!

Not ONCE are THE MIRACLES mentioned . Not once !!
Then, when they show an ALBUM with the group’s NAME on it , they find an album with a STICKER on it,
BLOCKING the Miracles’ name !! As if they are trying to ERASE the Miracles’ name from the public consciousness!! Many young people today NEVER KNEW that Smokey Robinson once sang in a GROUP !! But, THE TEMPTATIONS’ name is ALL OVER THE WOODWORK…And THEY weren’t even the ones being HONORED…nor was SMOKEY ever a MEMBER of that group !! Talking about trying to REVISE HISTORY !!

If it's any consolation, I introduce this piece in my "movie music" film history shows as Smokey Robiinson at the time when he was still with The Miracles...before he went solo. Will keep what you've written in mind next time I make a related movie clip. Thanks for weighing in...JL
