Asta is one of those units made for comeback meanwhile he is a tank think of him like the 4th slot unit on 7ds he comes last and nukes with his ult and wins
He does not look good for PvP. He is way to risky, especially with Julius being able to kill him before he reaches 40%. There are way better and safer teams for PvP. 1m dps on singletarget is insane, but its so irrelevant in PvP.

Y’all are looking at this wrong. He is primarily a tank but the anti magic is a comeback mechanic. It’s not a main focus that u build around. It’s pretty obv that he’s a tank and not a dps. I swear every gacha game community just bitches if a unit is primarily a dps. 💀
I am going to be trying him as a tank primarily probably tomorrow but it is boring. It can work from what I've seen though so I'll def test it more I'm not sure about him being meant to be a tank at nature/how they want you to play him. Both his passive and Skill Page increase his damage, which means they want you to work him into doing damage but the restrictions to getting there can end up getting you killed many times over.
The dmg bonus passives are a comeback mechanic for if things turn tragic. Youll goal is for him to tank and stall for other characters to be set up. Run him ass a tank and bring a real dps along on the team. You'll see what i mean. I agree with you, maybe activate anti-magic at a higher threshold like you mentioned and after each action from Black Asta, he cuts his own HP in half, would be aligned with how stressful this mode is for Asta body in the anime as well.
So, seeing your black Asta being maxed at 75k CC, I've been asking myself how much cc does a unit have at lvl 100 with basic equipment and nothing really upgraded because that's where I'm at currently in global, my Mars is like 37k cc without really being upgraded much and without his card, but it takes so long to enhance my characters that I can't get through 145k cc levels (which have the higher level gears right) at the moment. It's just kinda overwhelming and feels like you really don't have enough resources to keep up

The thing is I don't know if it's my fault that I lose so much in defense or if the AI isn't the best. I made sure the bot would play like I would but there's no way to tell which target they'll go for right, so if they pick the wrong one, I'm basically going to lose most of the time. Hence why I think maybe my team just sucks

He's utterly useless in pvp without her holding his hand if she dosent get one tapped in the first turn so you gotta build a team to protect her so she can protect asta so he can do his damage which might not be enough to carry the whole match kinda sad

@giku how do you get those high defense stats? I have the exact same gear as you. He is fully maxed, skill page is 2 star. Yet i only have 11K defense. Also i have no idea where to get the life steal LR gear
