marcello6878x No your not childish! My X had a huge statue of her standing on a big base that had a fan lol! It actually blew her dress up! Marilyn was wearing that gorgeous white halter dress! I believe the statue was modeled from the scene in NY city Lexington Ave! I always admired her breathtaking beauty! No one compares to her! Keep up the great work! Wonderful collection! Marcello, even after decades of admiring Marilyn many of these photos are new to me. The very last one shows us more of Norma than of Marilyn, an especially wonderful portrait.--- I know it's not an important part of the video but I wonder whatever happened to the necklace at 3:16. Marilyn wasn't one to own or wear much jewelry. Was the necklace borrowed from a friend, maybe Amy Greene? Was it one of the few pieces of jewelry Marilyn owned? Was it possibly given to a friend or staff member after Marilyn's death? Does the necklace still exist, maybe owned by someone who doesn't even know its history.--- Even though some of the quotes have genuinely good ideas, the quotes aren't from Marilyn; they just don't "sound" like her. Thank you, Marcello, for showing what Marilyn did NOT say. The beautiful piano version of "That's What Friends are For" goes so well with the images and with the purpose of this video: in dispelling misinformation about our beloved Marilyn. If she were here Marilyn might say to you the title of another song: "Thank You for Being a Friend".
Unlike her legend or Liz Taylor, Marilyn didn't like diamonds, Marilyn in real life was the least material girl of Hollywood. When she needed for a show or premiere, She borrowed clothes and jewelry from the studio. For a major star, she owned a very modest home at the end of her life. She once said "I don't care about money, I just want to be wonderful" and it 's completely true. It's amazing how much FAKE quotes attributed to Marilyn you can easily find in the web.
