On this subject, I heartily recommend a track I discovered by accident (it appeared in my 'recommended' feed) by a British band called UNIT. The track is A Tribute To The Israeli Defence Force and it is excellent - tuneful and forceful without being bombastic combined with a lovely lyric. I know next to nothing about the group but on investigation I see they've recorded a whole batch of Jewish related tracks such as Pesach, Yom Kippur, Bar Mitzvah, Israel Is Real, The 613 Mitzvot and probably others I don’t know about yet. Some of them feature Rabbi Moshe Bryski which is definitely a recommendation in itself.
Where I live (east London) Tower Hamlets Council have used our council tax to tie Palestinian flags to lamp posts in most of the major streets around here. I know this sounds difficult to believe but honestly, it's true. Why do they do this? What do they hope to gain? My next door neighbour is a Jew. How must he feel when he goes to the shops and sees Palestinian pro-terrorist flags flapping from every other lamp post? We have both written letters of complaint to TH Council which, naturally, will not change a thing but at least they are aware there are 2 voices of dissent in the borough. Your video makies me glad I don't go to university!
Absolutely unbelievable. Would any other country put up with this ?
Someone needs to get this out to the press.
I have seen those Palestinian flags too near Westferry and Whitechapel.
@@Mountainman2468 Put up with what? 🤨
Freedom of speech is freedom of hatred too. There should be nobody to decide where a speech is hateful or not. ALL speeches MUST be allowed in public spaces.
I don’t know anything about the history curriculum in schools today. However, our society is so diverse that it wouldn’t be wrong, I think, to teach basic Middle Eastern history.
I don’t mean who shot who first, I mean teaching about the history of the peoples there. Their roots etc.
I say this because I’ve witnessed some incredible, and let’s be honest, dangerous ignorance fuelling these demonstrations.
I remember one girl being asked why she’s demonstrating and she gave the usual TikTok learned answers; colonialism, apartheid, genocide. She finished on the astonishing claim that there were no Jews in the Middle East before 1948.
See what I mean.
There's 'dangerous ignorance' among Zionists too.
I wonder if students in Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran can debate openly an autonomous homeland for Kurds or in China a land for the Uyghurs.
Why not visit those counties and find out for yourself?
Answer- all the countries I have questions about, I don't have money or time to go to them all. Hopefully others may have some interesting answers. 😊
You should have more respect for Turks okay buddy? After everything we did for the Jewish nation, from Khazaria to the Ottomans to our modern republic, have a little decency man!
The celebrations began before the day was out.
I think you need to differentiate between words, as opinions, and assault (threats) and battery (attacks). The history of divergence may make it rational to withdraw from campus to schul, adding to the security there.
What about “ Gas the Jews” and “ From the river to the sea ?” Just opinions .

I feel such pain for all of you
Australia 🇦🇺 for Israel 🇮🇱
I guess students in the 1970s were more intelligent and knowledgeable as well as human as such racists problems were unheard of.
We saw the benefits of universal healthcare and public goods and the politics of class. We identified as hunans, which is indeed very sensible.
where is any proof of this?
I am so sorry for the increased anti-Semitism that is being shown in Britain. I am 63 and fully support the stance Israel has been forced to take against the horrors of October 7th. I hope that you and all the people you represent are safe and looked after.

Safe?? They will never be safe again...😢

What kind of attacks are students experiencing?? Your video tells me nothing of any value, other than I can see this bloke is anxious.
@edelgyn2699, noticing all your comments, you are here to be contrary, rather than seek genuine answers.
exactly
Sick to listen to this guy yapping about Palestinian murderers' rights and complaining about Israeli government instead of organizing resistance. Jews are attacked because they are weak. If you refuse to man up, just leave.
It is hard to man up and organise resistance, when you are heavily outnumbered.
