I met their photographer at an event, and she said that they are as wonderful and down to earth as they seem to be. That makes them even more amazing in my opinion.
So sad their love didn't last forever Jamie with out a doubt trusted David with all her heart. He can lift her with one hand he as great strength in his legs and arms. I love them both.
I said the same thing about trusting David. After SOI when they shook hands with people in the audience, David tripped over the chair in front of me. (I was behind the barrier on-ice seating was located) He already had my hand and I felt that grip of his. I said on the way to the car to my hand "The girl has to have a lot of trust in a guy in pair skating."
I think they are appearance-wise a perfect embodiment of the 'less is more' principle - the 'understatement' makes them visually so striking and such a powerful statement!
I agree with you the reactions are cute and funny. Every year I go and see CSOI and I go to Hamilton where it is filmed for the canadian veiwing. I get to see what they are really like in between the music cues for the fix ups and David and Jamie are so funny.
I think the girl screamed "I love you Jamie" for Jamie Scales, but JD Fortune did do an amazing job singing Imagine and it goes perfectly with the amazing skating performance. Combine that with the audience reaction at the end, one would think this video would be played a lot more.
Sale is not a small woman but David can through her around like a rag doll because he is big and strong and oh so handsome. He is a better looking man than she is a woman. He has my heart. David you are too good for her.
