Caught my very first salmon on the Klutina in 1990. 55#4oz in 8mph current. Have spent $250K since then looking for a bigger one. Lived on the Kenai, fished some of Canada’s best waters including River’s Inlet and all over Vancouver Island, and drove from Idaho to the Klutina with my own jet boat in 2010. Still the biggest, most memorable, and lasting impression of any outdoor experience in my life. Thanks for a very well done video.
@@SuperiorAngling I'm not sure what caused them to end up along the river but they showed up like 4-5 years ago, it was a female with a pretty young one in tow.
Great video.. Shore fishing the banks for some salmon is how I started out fishing an something I still look forward to 👍. Nice to see some big salmon with such personality being caught wonder if he’s ever seen one with no personality 😂😂
they look like a blast catching!!! but for some reason i can't stand eating salmon! i've tired many different ways. call me weird its just my least favorite LOL
Hell yeah! Great vid as always!🔥
What a great video, great footage, it's telling how much work went into producing such a film, and jaw dropping beautiful fish. Thank you
Thanks Joe!!
Man such a great video. Captures the beauty of even fishing for one of these giants. Went up with the copper river guide service this year… top notch!
Best video of the home field I've ever seen. See yall in July!

Great Video fellas 👏
Thanks so much!
Best video I've seen of the area.
Hmmm? That last hole with the hen. One of these things is not like the other hahahaha! Great video!
That's a great river we fish those same holes every year. Pretty cool that you got to see the 2 sheep that are like 60 miles outside of their range.
Thanks! What do you think caused them to end up along the river?
