So basically if you have already refugee status in other county, you are not allow to seek asylum in Canada

And one thing I want to confirm from you before l proceed. I started this steps in order to relocate to Canada, and I got to a stage at which l have been called after my eligibility text,
And asked to print and fill a supplementary immigration assessment form and submit. But I have been asked to pay some amount for further process. Please should I go ahead? I want confirmation from you before I do so Madam

Please kindly clarify this question for me.
In 2019, I applied for a Canada visiting visa with my family of 3 then. And it was rejected. The reason is that the officer is not convinced that we will leave Canada after our stay. Back then I didn't put any family ties, no SOP to back it up because I didn't have an idea of it.
Now, my wife got admission in one of the universities in Canada for winter 2024 intake, and we want to join her as the dependent with family 4 now. PLS WHAT ARE OUR CHANCES OF GETTING THE VISA.
Meanwhile, I have paid 10k cad as her tuition deposit out of 17k cad, I have two landed properties, I am currently working with one the federal government offices, I will submit her SOP this time around, my POF will cover us well etc.

It all depends on your proof of funds for the whole family. If you don't have that maybe she can go with the kids and you join later.

Please that is the difference between visitor- business visa (B-1)and visitor visa (v-1)
One is usa one is Canada
Pls I saw it on canadian visa and is written as visitor-business (B-1) so is it the same as visitor visa?

Thanks ma. But ma you haven’t talk about how much is house rent in Canada per month and all bills, also best place to live in Canada.
It all depends where you want to live
Prices vary....
1 bedroom apartment in Toronto will cost you on average about 2000 CAD monthly
Add on insurance and utilities (Gas , Power, Water) 400 CAD... internet 65 CAD Monthly Cellphone 55 CAD Monthly .Monthly Transit Pass 155 CAD. Food 150 Weekly.
I'm probably forgetting something.
A 1 bedroom in North Bay Ontario will run you about 1500 monthly plus insurance and utilities ( about same)
Same cell and internet prices
You'll save on transit if you buy a bike.
Food will be about the same. If you're able to hunt and fish you could cut the food bill in half.
If you want a car add the initial cost of the vehicle
60 CAD weekly for fuel 300 CAD Monthly for car insurance and 25CAD Monthly set aside for Mtce
I was talking about the North Bay area, not Toronto.
Yes, you need licenses to hunt and fish but
in a rural setting it's quite economical. It would be under 100 for an Ontario 3yr fishing license.
I have done that in the past also chexk my videos.
