You go!!! When someone tells you that you can not do something ask them why? It is sometimes amusing to see there response. Keep up the great positive attitude!!!

I would like to have graduated from Boston
or Stanford but I did not have the money to
go and was told to go on SSI and medicaid..
Since their was the money problem I truly
never knew for sure if these 2 schools
were wheelchair accessible or not but
I knew University of California, Berkeley
was back then but out of state fees was
as high as Boston or Stanford University
so applyed for SSI and medicaid but
luckly found job so did not collect.

@blomstersenter Have you ever lived with a disability? People are getting better about it, but there are still so many misconceptions.

Thank you for this video, it's great! I have not been spit on but I have had rocks thrown at me, I have been physically removed from elevators one man even tried to push me and my chair over for fun so him and his buddies could have a laugh. I no longer go anywhere without my dog because it's just not safe which is sad but what can you.

I am soory that you were spat on. It did
happened to me also a man spat
on me for being in a wheelchair on my
way to work on the NYC Subway. This
was 20 years ago and it was so awful
my work clothes were dirty and having
    to wash up.

@theYAXreview I will tell you that I am in a wheelchair and I am 14 years old and what you just said upsets me. You don't know what we go through. What do you get from calling us "lazy"? I had surgery last February of 2011 and the doctor accidentally hit my spinal cord in several places. You probably will never understand what we go through until you go through it yourself. So if I were you, I wouldn't judge people until you know the other side.

You seem like such a nice person. People like you give me inspiration. You're out there hustling, while others sit on their but collecting govt. handouts. You should be proud of yourself.

@cripsticks Listen 'cripple-sticks' if that IS your real name. I devote my life to saving the needed via the review, have put time and support into this and I don't need a 'lazy' telling me whats what. I'm a role model, a figure head and just a general idol in and around the South Wales area. My work as quoted by teen magazine 'Youth Revolt' is 'phonominal'. Now I'm going to be reviewing The Mask a 1996 release starring Jim Carey this friday, make ya self useful and show ya support -Karl Holton

They should make a wheelchair but with skates so people can actually sorta experience it

I'm glad to see a few positive comments, but many are so nasty. I don't understand why people hate so much on the disabled. I am not in a wheelchair, but I have been visually impaired since birth. No, I can't say I've been through this, but the ignorance, I've seen. And I continue to see in many comments below. It's sad. This is a person you're talking about!

One of the most offputting phrases is "confined to a wheelchair.'

I just hope you never have to experience what we do then and if you have nothing better to say then don't say anything at all!!! You have not only insulted others but also yourself through showing you true ignorance.
