This year is celebrated as the Birth Centenary year of Guru Dr Pta Rohini Bhate ji.
Kalachhaya Cultural Centre's Founder Smt Pta Prabha Marathe ji started her initial training of Kathak from Rohini ji.
This year in Kalachhaya's first ever Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj Nrutya Sangeet Mahotsav we were blessed to honor Rohini ji's exquisite work and her contribution towards kathak world.
On this auspicious occasion Nrityabharti's senior disciples troupe presented her legacy with some rare and traditonal compositions composed and choreographed by Guru Rohini ji's through a performance and followed by a documentary screening on Rohini ji currated by Smt Neelima Adhye (Director of NrityaBharati ).
