We have an innocent 48 year old son with the mind of a 3 year old. Somehow our worst trials have been watching HIM suffer..our special son. He has been at deaths door multiple times and has now been diagnosed with colon cancer. He is laying in the hospital right now, suffering from his recent surgery to remove the cancer. We know he is not alone during those hours when we can't be there. It seems like OUR REFINEMENT comes through HIS SUFFERING. I trust in God's will for each of us but my heart has been broken, over and over, watching our boy suffer. He does not understand and he is an innocent.
Through the grace 🙏 and mercy 🥺 of Jesus Christ, you can become clean from sin and enjoy peace of conscience. You can become worthy to live in our Heavenly Father's presence after this life .❤️ 💙 🙏 According to His plan, our Heavenly Father sent His Son Jesus Christ, into the world to show us how to live meaningful and happy lives and experience eternal joy after this life. 😊 🌎 🙏
I’ve been having a difficult experience. That has caused me to mourn. For some reason, I have felt temptation to apostatize. Yet I have a firm testimony and shrugged it off. These comments remind me of why bad things happen to good people. Tonight I’m reflecting the good that has happened because of my recent trial.
I was shrinking a little from listening to this video. But I'm so glad I did. I heard several things that I knew were meant specifically for me. Heavenly Father is so kind in His manner of gathering us in. He is always standing ready to bring us, and the people we love, further along the path back to Him. ❤️
Wow! This was both terrifying and relieving. Every word was poignant and beautiful and I appreciate, so much, the guidance and counsel we receive from our church leaders. Our trials remind us who we are and how intimately God knows each of us.

i don’t how i came to find this. i am in the middle of a struggling situation at the moment not of my own but that of two family members. all i intend to know was about our prophet president nelson, his career as a surgeon before his call. it seems that i was led to this in answer to my prayer this morning. though i know that the Lord assures us that He would be with us through our difficult moments, yet the price to pay has been so dear.
My proven situations have so terribly difficult and I’m grateful. When I get there I don’t want to feel out of place like a kindergartener in a astronomy class.

Much as we do not want trials, we also know in our heart and mind "There is no other way" and we also know it is only through "The refiners fire" that we can enjoy the presence of our Heavenly Father once again. We the spirit children of our Heavenly Father came to this earth to learn and grow. We may fall at times,but we can be helped up,and endure to the end.

In further research, I found four scriptures that bring guidance and comfort: Isaiah 5:20, Doctrine and Covenants 29:39, Doctrine and Covenants 122:7-8, and Matthew 11:28-30. I'm so sorry you are struggling. Life is just really, really hard. This is meant to comfort us- that we aren't alone in our pain and that if we endure, it will be more than worth it. Sometimes, when we are really low, even knowing this doesn't help much. When we are really low it's hard to see our way out of the moment we are in. I'll pray for you and I hope you pray for yourself and hang in there.
After I just joined the church, as a twenty year old. I also decided to go on a mission. My father was adamantly opposed to this decision. During this time, I had a dream that while I was working in our garden I noticed a loving and spiritual person suddenly appearing, immediately in front of me. I recognized him as Marion G Romney. He communicated to me telepathically and told me how wonderful it was that I decided to go on a mission. Brother Romney was still alive during this time in 1975. Things worked out for me, as my dad’s heart softened enough for him to give me his approval and acceptance of my choice to serve for 2 years.
