Welcome! I actually use thread mostly. Just regular, good ol', poly thread. I don't like using floss if I can help it as I feel it pulls on the felt as I'm sewing. I generally only use floss for decorative details, and sparcely, as embroidery is not my forte. 😉 If you only have floss though, one thread, 2 max, and some trial and error. 💗
