    A good disk brake conversion with a dual pot master cylinder is at the very top of the list !!!
    Those brakes were bad even brand new !!!
    The 240 was a good choice over the issue ridden 170 !!!
    Think Radiator an cooling too ...

      This vehicle looks like it is a skateboard and kind of silly if not lowered.

    We had one about the same year back in the early 70s had a small six with a manual choke burned oil like nobody’s business a gallon or so every 2-3 weeks it kept going about 60 mph was top speed no power brakes so watch out for panic stopping they like to end up a little sideways in the lane

    A 289 or 302 engine swap, would have been nice.

      Yes, but I like the idea of keeping the original and also there is not a lot of info on these motors so many will enjoy the videos.
