The lyrics speak so truly to how Diana must have been feeling through this hard time and tells the story almost perfectly. If he had stuck to his guns the way Elizabeth did to marry Prince Philip, (which her parents didn't want) he could have had Camilla. Charles wanted to play the field with a lot of girlfriends and then got upset when Camilla married someone else. His fault.
