This might not ensure the security of your delivery BUT maybe try and tip the deliverer in person instead of on the app cause a chunk of the tip goes to the company.

Ben and Jerry's, at least where I live, has a plastic seal around the outside cap, but not over the ice cream. So if there wasn't any plastic seal, it may have been tampered with.

Ben & Jerry's should always have the outside seal. Häagen-Dazs, I believe, doesn't have the seal on the outside, but does have an inside layer seal.
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream does have the outside seal and Haagen Daz doesn't have an outside seal.

The ice cream licking trend was a really REALLY big deal at the time. I would have expected a bigger reaction from Link, thinking about buying a tub of ice cream that a person before you has literally opened, licked the ice cream (with no protective cover at all), replaced the top, and returned it to the freezer ... how was Link not overwhelmingly horrified by this??

I knew here in Texas it was ALL OVER our news, but didn't know how much coverage it got anywhere else.
