Really good fight overall, I wondered how the hell they were going to make a fight against a Legion a functional boss fight, and I must say I certainly wasn't expecting Okami's Yami. lmao. I wouldn't say this is as emotionally investing of a fight as HoT and HoS were just because those were characters we cared for. HoDom meanwhile, is more of an idea/a concept. We're literally fighting against mankind's despair given form. (Thanks Junko). That being said, HoDom was still a great Herrscher and made for a great antagonist overall. If HoV represents Kiana/Sirin getting over her hatred and her past self, HoDom represents Kiana/Sirin finally putting all of her growth to use against an enemy that she very much could have ended up like had she taken a different path. Every other Herrscher we've seen so far as well has given us a reason to care about them despite we've constantly been told that they're emotionless living weapons who only want destruction. HoDom meanwhile, is just straight up despicable. Honestly it's... kind of refreshing? Though given how unique HoDom is, I sincerely doubt we'll see this again with the 11th or the 12th. Not that I mind of course. Oh, and making us fight the Hua and Bronya puppets? Absolute scumbag move. lmao.
I agree is HoDom is the only pure evil Herrscher so far. And I don't expect miHoYo to give us some bs flashback about her to twist the plot cuz it's too late LMAO
i can see the herrscher of the end using the HODom's powers in a fight, each "Puppet/clone" wielding a herrscher Power for one phase of the battle. ngl that sounds like an epic battle. the more i see more herrschers and their powers, the more i wonder about how the herrscher of the end boss battle would be like.
HoDom refers to the worst of humanity. The bad parts of the human mind, but only the worst. There’s no goods, because that’s all it knows. It lives blinded by the hatred of the humans, it’s Abilities even represent the fact that all it knows is that very thing. Unlike other Herrschers that have valid reasonings for what they do the HoDom does not, and doesn’t need to, after all it’s a Honkai Manifestation and what Honkai do best is destroy humans. What best to use humans for if to destroy humanity than their very worst. The absolute corrupt moves by this despicable creature just shows what it believes, using dead bodies as puppets, only showing the reasons why they died instead of the good in them. The HoDom is truly something and a great way to end Kiana’s growth. Kiana being the light to the HoDoms darkness
I suddenly felt like listening to HoD osts because of the Theater of Domination reappearing in Elysian Realm chapter 30 and because the osts are bangers. Several observations I want to make about HoD: 1. It looks nothing like a human, more like some sort of mechanical creation utilizing Imaginary energy. Obviously it shares the same mechanical structure with the clockwork machine monster that killed Bella, Sirin's dragon. So someone with crazy mechanical engineering skills must have created HoD and the other Imaginary machines. For captains who played through the story, I think we can already make educated guesses on who this person is. I think they also share the same color palette. 2. Difference between HoD and the other herrschers is that HoD controls multiple hosts in the form of puppets. I'm not sure that it occupies a human body. Previous herrschers have only one human host that they have a relationship with. We should take note that this creator I'm hinting at (not interested in spoiling) appears to have some extreme form of schizophrenia. I'm not really sure if that is multiple personalities existing independently of each other in the real world, or multiple personalities sharing the same body. Those mechanical thing constructed using imaginary power… the one who use this imaginary power can make those… some character that be able to construct them is Honkai god (create husk nihilisk), HoD(create puppets to make army without using their host and prevent dying), Otto, and aponia recently… while number 2. HoDom actually did have many host.. 1000 of them… even if the puppet is destroyed they still can change to other puppet or the main puppet(the big chonky one, that’s why is said in many voice) and that’s why the main puppet name is HoD minion…

@@dquade all of the herrscher was made by will of Honkai except the herrscher of humanity elysia…. I don’t really can confirm who make herrscher elysia but I think maybe human will to survive give birth to elysia and the imaginary tree blessed humanity
The HoD arc was the last time when I enjoyed Honkai story. Everything after it has became difficult to get through. It makes me so sad , because I love this game dearly. I hope the writing quality from then comes back. 😭
@LLLL I'm curious, have you played Chapter 31? And have you played the elysian realm beforehand. If you did, then mind sharing why you didn't like it. I keep seeing people say that they "stop caring for the story since chapter 29-31" when imo it's one of the best arc in the game.
I kinda of hope that genshin get this level of develpoment in their story arcs... but at same time i dont know if a want to see anything near a HOD or a God Kiana cenario in it...
I feel like it's getting there. It's just a lot of details are not shown to us directly, you have to read the artifact and weapon lore to get the full picture almost a year later... Nah. It will never get there

I think the HoT "all" phases are in hoyo-mix (Never Let you Go) (Why) (Clock) (Kcolc) (Yesterday) etc. But I'm uncertain though, meanwhile if it's her actual theme you can search up Herrscher of Thunder OST, then one of rei's video will maybe appear
