That’s not the only difference but it is one of the more important things but there’s also the process used like cooking can be pretty much everything from main meals to other things but baking is mostly things like cakes or biscuit type food items etc but in cooking you can be a little less precise with ingredient quantities yet with baking being inaccurate can be the difference between success and failure the temperature can also be crucial like if baking cookies set the temperature to high and you just get burnt food etc
Maybe this is because my friends are awesome, but the cooking/baking thing is now my favorite random conversation starter. Also talked about the secret ingredient with mom. She is an actual grandma, so being good enough to mention is an honorary in itself.

totally has nothing to due with the video except for one line BUT if anyone's curious here is the difference between cooking and baking: cooking is an art and baking is a science, with cooking if you mess up a bit or eyeball measurements you're usually gonna be fine but with baking you need 100% accuracy and precision or it won't come out right, hope that cleared things up!!
