If deku was dead, Lida would have died in his battle against Stain, Bakugou would have died to that slime, Uraraka would have died in the war and Aizawa too because the one who stopped Shigaraki from touching Aizawa was Deku, Eri would die, basically if deku were dead this anime would be more depressing because if we think about it room 1A would be quieter.
