Thank you Mr. Wilbert for this explanation of Sukkot. It brought tears to my eyes thinking of the Old Covenant celebration and how we as New Covenant believers in Yeshua can celebrate this beautiful festival.
Waving the lulav and praising has benefits. In 2017 we were in Ecuador during Sukkot and a local man saw us outside praising, singing and praying. He had never seen Elohim praised this way and he that day dedicated his life to YHVH and when were there again in 2019 he, his whole immediate family and many extended friends and family of his celebrated Sukkot with us. Hard to know the reason, but as David said, YHVH said it so do it and see how the Father uses your faithfulness. Chag sameach
Thank you so much for this brother.
This is my first time celebrating Sukkot. Although I am the only one celebrating it in my family. And they probably tho im crazy 😅. Mom kinda laughed at my flimsy tent in the backyard. However, i plan to cook up a storm for them. I have already spammed our family group chat with sukkot stuff 🥰💕 I am so thankful to the LORD for everything! I know one day my family will celebrate it with me in the future. I know it in my spirit and I am excited!! Shalom and happy Sukkot.
Love from the Philippines❤
I too am celebrating alone this year. My family will see the joy and surely join me.
It's one of my most favorite times of the year. I love it. So peaceful and exciting plus so rewarding to spend time with God and Yeshua and loved ones. Its so special.🙏❤️
Are individuals supposed to wave the branches or is it acceptable for the congregation leader to do it? Thank you.
This year is my 1st time to celebrate the FEAST of Sukkot. I hope I can keep up. Thanks for sharing this Yah Bless
Simple, concise and thorough explanation of this beautiful holiday, thank you! Just subscribed, God bless you!
🙏❤🙏
Blessings.
Thank you. Blessing's and Shalom
Thank You so, much. What a Beautiful explanation. This will be my first year to Celebrate Sukkot. We are so, excited. Shalom
You're welcome! Glad to know you found the video helpful. Have a wonderful feast!
@@DavidWilberBlog What? You can't keep a biblical feast! You must GO TO JERUSALEM and bring you sacrifice/offering to keep a biblical feast. He warned not to appear empty handed. He certainly didn't say you can ignore how He instructs to keep a feast and call your own ideas "obedience." And Yah didn't say you could do it anywhere other than the temple in Jerusalem period! In fact, Jeraboam tried to do it elsewhere and perished for it along with everyone who followed in that sin.
Thank you so much this is so very helpful. I was raised Baptist but soon found I was an orphan and adopted by the living God of Israel. Now I celebrate His feasts
Hallelujah Amen ❤🙏
This was beautiful. Thank you so much!
Just discovering the feasts of Yahwah so interresting! It all makes sense when you put it together, the feasts and the story line of the scriptures with the promise of the second coming.
Amen!
@@DavidWilberBlog I live in Barcelona in Spain, not sure if 7 day baptist is recommended or to find a Jewish community to learn more. Its difficult to apply this is your life a "newbie" without you seeming complete crazy to your friends and family who are seculars. I have been agnostic, raised in secular family and just now discovered the gospel as an adult. I am happy to have found your work, your message resonated with me. Thank you and I pray and that ligt of Yeshua is in your life and your family and near are safe 🙏
Please pray for my prodigal family that have walked away from God.
Please pray the promise in Ezekiel 36:25-29 over my wife 3 sons and daughter
Blessings ❤️🙏
2023 and my first year to learn how to keep and celebrate this HOLYDAY Yahs feast are way better and good for our soul. Thank you.
May Father YAHweh bless your understanding. All praise belongs to Father YAHweh.
A time. of rejoicing for the harvest God has blessed us with, all is He and we are His children and He loves us He just want's us to treat Him and other people with respect which is why he gave the Torah and the Oral Laws of how to deal with delicate situations and as sinners not cast the first stone, as Yeshua said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and none of us are perfect and he has been incredibly patient with us family and has greatly blessed me this day with all I needed for the Feast...Hallelujah! & Chag Sameach!

Thank you for sharing.I think that also
Great video! Thank you!!!
was not sure what to expect but it was good, thank you
Praise Yahusha 🎉
God bless you bro thankyou
Sukkot, is the time to camp together in one accord and continually, pray, praise, magnify, dance, and celebrate until everyone ascends into the Throne Room of Heaven where the Glory appears and everyone is pressed down in worship. 8 day outpouring gathering, to copy heaven on earth. Even on non Sanbath days, imagine everyone praising God in te fields for such harvest. That's how the Glory of God would often appear during these times.
CHAG SAMEACH SUKKOT 2023!!!
A heart❤️ felt teaching with simplicite understand filled with the love of Y'shua.
Humbled ⛺🕊️
Me too that will my first year also , great explanation , thank you
Great review!
I love you ❤ and thank you 😊
What a wonderful teaching! Now i know very clearly how i can celebrate this holiday, but alone this year due to covid. Blessings to you from our great God and Savior Yeshoua and shalom from Canada!
Thanks! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Sukkot!
Very good explanation!!!!
Thank you, may Hashem bless you,
Wonderful job. I'll be adding a few activities that I didn't know about. I'm adapting to my 2nd year of trying to celebrate the HOLY DAYS not holidays. In a spiritual way it's very refreshing to my soul. I'll be celebrating my "Messiah's" birthday during Sukkot from now on. As with all people following "The Way", I'm trying to figure this out. I get some things wrong and hope it's not considered strange fire. I live in an apt complex without a balcony, so I can't do my tent outside. A bit of trouble locating my palm trees and other fronds. I don't have any fellow sojourners willing to accept the Jewish holidays, so I'm solo. I keep praying that Yahshua help me find a congregation to fellowship with. I asked Him to join me. I've been extra blessed since trying to observe "The Way". I'm disappointed that I was taught incorrectly for so long.
A lot of us have unfortunately, but bless you for worshipping Him in the Spirit. He knows your heart and you want to follow Him correctly. I think a lot of us are adapting to this as we grow in Him.
This was really good enjoyed the information
Interesting, I listened to Handel's 'Messiah' yesterday, thank you for this video!
I am new to the realization that there's no bible verse that says NOT to celebrate or respect & obey YAHÙAH'S FESTIVALS. & HOLIDAYS... And who doesn't like to celebrate!!?!? 😁 and I used to celebrate & be happy for unimportant things, now I have a true purpose to celebrate & to observe YAHÙAH ALMIGHTY'S DAYS & FESTIVITIES. 🙏🏼✨️🎉
HAPPY SHUKKOT 5784.... (am I saying it right?) 🙌🏼🌴🍋🌿
Happy sukkot
A good and earnest presentation.
I'm loving Sukkot as much as I loved Christmas as a kid. I especially liked the video that explained what we are supposed to do biblically and not just from tradition. I like tradition, but it is good to know the difference.
This is my 1st video of him, and I’m saying this in a light hearted matter (so relax) but I feel like David is sad about Christmas
lol! I just miss SOME Christmas songs.
Shabbat Shalom. Wish I saw this teaching when I began my celebration... Either way I'm greatful for now I am going to prepare properly for next year... New in the Way of Torah and seeing His grace as I learn. HalelluYaH.
Another great teaching! Thank you David!
Hey listen bro thankyou. here I am again. Its been a year what are the chances no one commented for a year lol God is good. God Bless you bro, thanks again.
One of the best Sukkot explanations I've heard brother. :) Thank you!
Thanks, David... unfortunately, can't do the "dwell in a Succah" again this year, but maybe someday..very nice explanation. Yeshua is coming soon! GBY.
Very nice, ty. We celebrate sukkot or feast of tabernacle and all the feast written in the Bible, we also observed the 10 commandments particularly sabbath, I am Philippines and we have a congregation who practice Jewish practice. We believed that JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIA IS BORN DURING SOKKOT, We will celebrate feast of tabernacle (sukkot) next week for one week, member of congregation all over Philippines will gather in the mountainous area of Sierra Madre in alfonso castañeda, nueva Vizcaya. In behalf of the congregation I would like to invite you and conduct lecture to the members of the congregation, we are doing this for almost 30 years. I hope we could hear your lecture for the salvation of the members of the congregation. Ty and GOD BLESS
Forgot to say- You're teaching was very good. :)
Sukkot... bushcrafters, this is your time to shine! ;)
Thank you explaining this so well. I was blessed.
Makes a lot of sence in understanding the traditional celebration of rejoicing in what Jesus has done and enjoying the fruit of the harvest of hardwork and produce of sweat and blood.
You packed alot of info in a concise, polite, easy to share video! Thank you!!!
Thanks, brother. We will go on celebrating the feast inspite of the pandemic.
Wonderful message! Thank you sooo much!
I had a friend ask me what we do for Sukkot? do we sit around and pray? I sent this Video to them.
Awesome explanation. So happy to learn and celebrate. Thank You !
You have blessed my soul & spirit.
As Christians, we really deprived ourselves of these beautiful events that even our beloved Saviour celebrated ❤️ I will change that in my family. Thank you for this video brother
❤❤❤😂😂😂
God Bless
Second year celebrating hopefully this year noone will twll us we can't again
Maybe I missed it, but the one aspect that we are supposed to do is go to Jerusalem. With that in mind, we can only memorialize the Feast since most can't keep it as commanded. It isn't about going camping, although that gives a "feel" of going to Jerusalem. And unless you actually live in Jerusalem, building a sukkah on your property is still only a memorial. I'm a little concerned that the two people I listened to didn't mention this, and there seems to be some additions taking place. I'm excited that more people are returning to the ancient path; it's just that man has a historical habit of adding to or taking away from the commandments. Wishing everyone a blessed Sukkot!!
So when He says ....Go where i place my name ....is that aways Jerusalem ?
So fe there is no physical Temple, we can’t do that. But I agree with you about it being turned into a camping trip by many. A tent is not a kosher sukkah. But we are all learning. Baruch HaShem.

Clear and to the point. Thank you so much.
For the doubters concerning the blrthdate of Messiah , investigate the course of abiah. It is a date. We also know John, the babtist was six months older than Jesus, and when Mary concieved she went directly to Elizabeth and John leapt in her womb. From the course of abiah where Johns father was serving to Marys announcment is six months, Do the math.
It is quite fitting that sukkot begins the night before Thanksgiving Day in Canada. What are your recommendations for celebrating in colder areas. Where we live (fairly far North compared to anywhere in the US save Alaska), our overnight temperature is already going to be below 9C (48F), which is what it is now at 12:45 AM. I'm very interested to see what the established recommendations are. Also, where would I find the lulav and etrog? I've only seen pictures and videos depicting these.
That was interesting about you speaking for those Christmas songs that pertain to his birth but I don’t find it written in my Bible that we as Christians should celebrate his birth. You have to give some more info on that one. But thank you for the insight. God bless
Best and easiest to watch explanation of sukkoth. Thank you
Ok i am a Christian. I grew up in Western culture. For some reason i felt that God wants me to celebrate Sukkot. I am so very new to this. Anyway my husband and I built a tent…. We had perfect materials for it… i look forward to decorating it. Yet i am not sure if i go through with everything what the Scriptures tell us. I don’t believe in doing the law because i am not under it because of Yeshua. I will do whatever Yeshua tells my heart to do. I am struggling with the whole to be honest. But i want to celebrate God‘s way and not only Christmas (which isn’t even His birthday). God bless you all!
I literally am in the same exact situation as what you typed. I too also claim every word you say. Wow
Thank you! God bless you and your family!
SHALOM brother thank you so very much to explain every detail about the feast of sukkot
Exciting! I'm seeking one in my area following this pattern ! Figured there isnt one yet. So we want to plan one. Thank you fornthe assisting video ! True brother 🏹
Thank you your explanation and teaching was absolutely awesome! I believe everything you said, and keep those days. I disgarded Christmas as the birth of Christ many years ago. Keeping Sabbaths ... but I've never erected a tent; but kept the feasts in my heart and in my home. Feeling much led to change that this year, but alone I'm in an apt. Yet gonna attempt to put something pretty together on my patio that does have an open sky portion as well as covered portion. God knows my heart and ability. Thank you and Shalom!
Happy Sukkot! ✝️🙏💞😊
You're welcome! Hope you have a blessed and wonderful Sukkot.
@@DavidWilberBlog thank you! May you and yours have a blessed and happy Sukkot as well. Salom! 😊🙏💥
Happy Sukkot from CO !!!
Rejoice!!
God is Love. Wisdom though, is to keep Christmas, still spending that day with loved ones who see doing so as family time. Invite them to keep Sukkot with you also.
A Jew who found Jesus once told me to invite Jews into your homes on Christmas and read scripture. Remember that was likely the time of conception and an amazing ministry opportunity.
Has anyone done this while working?
Can a tent be used for Sukkot? Is that legitimate?
So what do we wave when we are unable to get any lulav or etrog? A lemon and some other branches?
Thats close enough God knows your heart just time to celebrate his coming!!! HAPPY SUKKOT
Where do uou get a lulav?
I wish to live in place where people celebrate this festival 😕 i would gladly join tge tents and skriptures, feed homeless ect...
shalom shalom - so do we build our sukkah on Fri or on Sat ?? I have heard both
Friday night is when Sukkot starts on the Jewish calendar that most people use. In any case, it's probably a good idea to try to have your Sukkah ready before the festival begins.
Do these texts tell you to do the feasts whenever you want ???🤔🤔🤔
Daniel 10:1-4
2 Chronicles 30
Deuteronomy 12
Deuteronomy 16
Ezra 6
Acts 18:21
Do we have to eat only unleavened bread during the Feast of Tabernacles?
Nope. We eat unleavened bread during the feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread in the spring!
Thanks for your Teaching. I always admire your teaching. but I'm a little bit uncomfortable with the Christmas things like repackaging it and adding to Sukkot. Aren't we celebrate Yashua in every feast, it is already great and perfect. I think if we'll add Christmas to sukkot it will soon take over sukkot. you people are allowing songs, someone will allow tree than someone else Santa-clause, etc. aren't we picking and choosing things from Christmas. let's not make room for error so that someone else has to correct it years latter things are simple in YAH feast so let it be simple.
I'm just talking about songs having to do with the birth of Messiah. Those songs having nothing to do with Christmas holiday per se. They are just songs about Messiah that we can sing during Sukkot, since one of the themes of Sukkot is the birth of Messiah.
@@DavidWilberBlog Thanks got it brother happy Sukkot 🎉
Thanks, but after all that, we still aren't given the date to celebrate Sukkot.
Hey brother when do you celebrate the feast? Learning
In 2022, Sukkot begins in the evening of October 9 and ends in the evening of October 16. Then Shemini Atzeret begins in the evening of October 16 and ends in the evening of October 17. Hope that helps!
What has been the top experience of Sukkot 2020 for you?
When is it this year dawid
Starts in the evening of Monday, September 20th.
Thank you for the video. I will definitely read Ecclesiastes several times 😊❤🙏
Wonderful!
The birth can't be on fall as all fall feasts are about second coming. The passover lambs were to be one year so lambing must have been around Nissan. Jew's believe Isaac was born on Shavuot and was a type of Christ
♥️I love the Lord! ☝️🙏♥️
The Sukkah is much like the temporary dwelling. We too are a physical temporary Sukkah. The items used, describe the different levels of their walk according to their spiritual walk. Much of the Feasts and Days of Yahweh have been transcended from physical to Spiritual. We are told not to walk in the "flesh" but in the Holy Spirit of our Abba Yahweh. The Pesach and Unleavened Bread are our Yeshua, the Eternal Lamb of Yahweh who was without blemish, without sin.
Shavuot - Pentecost is the giving of the Holy Spirit of our Abba Yahweh, referred to as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit who would be set after Yeshua ascended. (After we have confessed our sins and desire to be obedient to His 10 Words etc., we are the Baptism by the indwelling Holy Spirit of our Abba Yahweh, who can now dwell within us, for the Blood of Yeshua has cleansed our Temples from sins defilement rendering us unclean, just as the blood of the bull's blood was sprinkled on everything in the Temple so that Abba Yahweh may dwell in the midst of his people. The Day of Trumpets the blowing of the Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Sukkot and Dedication ceremony Hannukha. (Yeshua is the Light to the World (as we are in the midst of our enemy those who live in darkness). All these have been transcended from physical to Spiritual. "The Letter kills, but the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) of our Abba Yahweh Elohim (the present presence) who dwells within us to help us overcome the things of the flesh (our evil inclinations) that we may walk Righteously before our Abba. Yeshua and our Abba abide within us as they are ONE that we too may be ONE with Yeshua and our Abba Yahweh. The Blood Covenant of Moses was waxing old (temporary as it was ratified by animals blood and ministered by High Priests or Priests who died and are not resurrected as Yeshua was) for a MORE perfect Covenant that Yeshua brought would be an Eternal ONE. A more perfect Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire (Eternal ONE). The Word of our Abba was first spoken, the written and is now engraved on our hearts. Elevated to a more perfect way. Forgiveness of Sin never required a sacrifice. Our Abba Yahweh forgave those in Ninevah after they repented as He saw their hearts (they did not sacrifice at the Temple). Solomon in his prayer to our Abba ask our Abba Yahweh to forgive the sins of those afar off if they looked towards the temple. (No sacrifice). Our Abba Yahweh cannot dwell in the same place with those who are unclean, (through sin - its a stench in His nostrils) unholy as He is Holy. Unclean cannot be in the same place as clean. This is what separates us from our Abba Yahweh. Its the reason His Presence left the man made Temple, because of all the sin going on in the people. (The priests etc). Yeshua's Blood cleanses our temporary Temples (Tabernacles) to establish reconciliation with our Abba Yahweh. The 10 Words of our Abba Yahweh this placed in the Ark. The others were put outside of the Ark. The sacrifices, the Priesthood, the High Priest and all it's furnishings were elevated or transcended from physical to Spiritual within us. Blessings to all in Yeshua our Messiah and grafted into the Family of our Abba Yahweh during this fall season.
Very nice, well done and thank you for sharing your knowledge for us who are still not home in Israel....God bless you and your family
Very good explination. Blessings to you and your ministry.
Thank you!
