nice ranking, i would've put retroglide a bit higher though and i would've included early tapes and sirens if sirens was included it'd probably be the worst in the ranking, don't you think? also I love that pin, do you know where your friend got it from? level 42 merchandise is a bit hard to get, specially if you don't live in the UK ;(
Thank you, “Sirens” is an extended play and not an official studio album but I would have ranked it low and I’d probably put “The Early Tapes” higher than “Running in the Family” but lower than “World Machine”. That pin badge is brilliant, I don’t know where he got it from but he’s had it for 15 years and he knows I love this band so he gave it to me. 😁👍
Early Tapes is by far my favorite. The latter albums did not touch me. The ones in between still have some cool music, but Early Tapes is it for me! Unrelated, but do you know 'Cloud about mercury' by David Torn? Just thinking if you might like that? One of my three all-time favorite albums. The other two being: Stompin' at the Savoy from Rufus with Chaka Khan and last not least 'Watching my life go by' by Michael Hegdes. The albums are very different as I like diverse music styles. The last days I have been listening a lot to Frank Zappa. Especially the early albums and the ones with George Duke (another of the all-time greats) on keys.
