The plunger is just a pump. It will squirt fuel right at the butterfly. They will sometimes leak fuel at the plunger when they go bad. I had one leak and I put a gasket over holes and blocked it off and just squirt fuel with a bottle. I still have a few that work and it will crank saws up pretty good.
I know on some of those electrical timing units on the 125c you need to wire them backwards to work correctly as i have mine, they work great. Also for the 3 piece clutch they must have 2 different options for the spring because the one the book says to use is different from the broken one i took off unless someone put a different clutch on my 125. I absolutely love that saw. WA State
😊😊 HI DONNY the chips U are talking about are ignition chip U can use them 2 replace the points and condenser and they are suppose 2 have a hotter spark 2 them that makes the engine start faster 😊😊 / donny U would have 2 look the part no up 4 the seals 2 see what size they are they could be O rings 😊😊 OMG 12 16 2O24
The numbering system on Mcculloch's is confusing, The 797, super 797, cp125, sp125, sp125c maybe more, and they all had the 123cc engine. Have those cast iron sleeved ones ever get ported?
Hi Donny wish you Canadians would pronounce the word Mc Culloch properly it's not McCulla it's pronounced och as in Loch like Loch Ness. Great vids. Thanks. Iain from Scotland.
I love it when you are in to an old saw because you also throw in some old stories in a round about way about loggers and such.

Looks like the choke maybe is a manual impulse to prime up the carb…?
