yep its called tulip fabric paint! puffy paint to fill in the gaps when fixing a squishy and matte paint to paint it! as well as using sandpaper and gesso to basecoat

I've been looking at some of those! My human based squishies tend to never come out the way I imagined them so I'm scared. Working on building up the courage to do one of those 😅
I did my first squishy makeover (video eventually) and got tired of trying to layer the Tulip paint. I bought some leather paint omg you have to try it. such coverage and it's still breathable and bendable.
Hey! ME fan here 😂 I literally just found this channel and I'm already obsessed, your editing is incredible! Here's some tips I got from watching Moriah Elizabeth's squishy makeovers! If you're going to use slick paint then you should use a popsicle stick because slick paint is very thin and its also kinda transparent. So it would be very difficult to use a paint brush. Adding on a ton of layers just for a base coat kind of defeats the purpose of the base coat. You can't use paint brushes for slick paint.. BUT you can use matte fabric paint. You can use slick paint for repairs, like sealing up cracks or big rips (if there are big rips in the squishy, you should use fabric glue, fabric glue dries stretchy) and its probably better if you don't use Posca paint pens because they crack when you squish it a lot, kind of like acrylic paint. I guess if you're only using the squishies for display purposes only then I guess it's fine. You can seal the squishies with something so it doesn't wear out!

You can costumize a "cake you would give to yourself", "a cake you would give to your girlfriend or idol", "a cake you would give to a cow (?)", "a cake you would give to a character of yours"; OR you can make the themes twisted: "a cake you would make to feed your nightmares", "a cake you would give to a monster", "a cake you would give to a cannibal rat".
You always crack me up. And, I needed a laugh today. I have origami paper with that same cat design-the one that was covering the cat. (That’s kind of confusing.) It’s one among many cat designs. Needless to say, I like cats. Does that make me a sparkle butt? I hope not. Both very excellent squishy makeovers. Blessings!
