  • The Wind Beneath My Wings Played On A Casio CT-X 5000 Keyboard
The Wind Beneath My Wings is a song written in 1982 by Jeff Silbar and Larry Henley. The highest charting version of the song was recorded in 1988 by singer and actress Bette Midler for the soundtrack to the film "Beaches". This version was released as a single in early 1989. It has won Grammy Awards for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year in February 1990. It was also certified 'Platinum' by the Recording Industry Association of America. The Wind Beneath My Wings has also been recorded by Roger Whittaker, Sheena Easton and Lee Greenwood but the version recorded by Bette Midler remains the most popular. It is also the most played song at British Funerals.
The meaning of The Wind Beneath My Wings means I Love You. I will take you under my wing.
I recommend listening to this recording through headphones to hear the bass and accompaniment more clearly.
The rhythm and tones I have used for The Wind Beneath My Wings are as follows:-

The tones I have used through the song are as follows:-

I recommend listening to this recording through headphones as you will hear the bass and accompaniment more clearly.
