Saw Vance sing this song in Brisbane - so glad someone recorded him singing this on video. The world is better for it. xx Everyone in the crowd was blown away by his talent. He will have alot of success :)
Here is a track you probably won't hear on #hottest100 or ***** for that matter but if anything that only magnifies the awesomeness of this cover! Here's your (officially) favourite Australian artist #vancejoy covering #brucespringsteen 's 1984 hit "Dancing in the Dark" Hope you're all having a great true blue #australiaday public holiday! Vance Joy - Dancing in the Dark (Bruce Springsteen) | TramSTOP Session
lol. you could also say that it's unskilled, and only half the time deliberate. i don't know why people rush to the defence of people whom can't play instruments or arrange a song competently. i get if you like vance joy, i guess, but this arrangement is all of the place and sounds wrong. you're probably going to spit some technical term at me to disprove my personal opinion :s
I never said this was a perfect arrangement or Vance Joy can do no wrong how dare you criticise him etc. my point is, music like this doesn't have to be exactly in time, it's beautiful because it's played freely with emotion. If he was playing the chorus of Riptide I would be 100% with you, but he's just hanging out playing a cover at a tram stop, hardly makes him unskilled.
