When she first started this, I thought, “What a mess!” Held that thought for over half the way through this video. Then, she started pulling it all together and the end result was so adorable. Then, I wondered if I could do it. No. Mine would start off a mess and the end result would still be a mess. Sigh! Great job!

Hi, I am a fairly new subscriber. I just watched this and what drew me in was the Neo Color II.... 🐦🐥🎨👩🎨🖍🖌🖋🗒🎶Either way a few years ago I found a red cardboard box with a set of 5 of these original Caran D'ache crayons🙋♀️👍💙💚💛💜. Well I tried researching but these must be old. They are labeled as chalkboard neons or something,but look the same as today's . I believe they were my Grandfathers who served in Germany and loved art. So I've only used them once because they seem rare or at least special to me. I cherish them and hope to buy some to play with sometimes. I just got water color creams and they work the same but feel like lipstick and are So soft.
I so enjoyed this and loved the finished piece. I do like the non gesso side for blending and the colors appear to stay more vibatnat and blendable . Was the intention to just show the difference beacsue I would have guessed the gesso side would be smoother. What did prefer?

Love love love this! Can anyone speak to the differences between the neo color and the Dina Wakley scribble sticks?
Thank you, Amy!! They are very different. Neocolor are rich and creamy, Scribble sticks are maybe more transparent and "painterly." ?? It's hard to describe. =/ I love them both though!

I like Dina Wakley paintbrushes a lot. Other than that I just buy the cheap variety packs. =)

Hey Amber, I love these side by side comparisons! I've been looking at the neocolors for a while. Do you need to use a fixative on these where they are water soluble? I have got to get those bigger back chat stickers they are so fun. It's about time they made the title stickers bigger! Lol
