Expecting arcade to be a war boss and Northstar to be quicksilver 2.0
While he seems manageable as you only have to knock him down, on stun immune that seems annoying especially considering you can’t punish his heavy so you might be right
@edd1e476 unless I'm mistaken I think all his selectable immunities become active while defending
I think northstar gets a bit more hype than Quicksilver in usage

If you look at 1:42 theres a 7* herc which will never happen so that prpbably confirms no cgr

Really hoping Northstar doesn’t feel like QS. Also I’m loving just letting these champs happen when they happen.

I agree that last year was very impactful on champion releases and this year is having trouble balacing the scale but I dont think any of them have been totally underwhelming, And theres definitley been an impact 2024 champs have already delivered, But my only gripe is most of them are defenders, But nonetheless im still excited for both June champs, and Beta Ray Bill from the Teaser a few days ago

Arcade looks interesting, probably more defensive but also looks fun on offense Northstar, he’s probably not made for BGs but excels in long matchups
Can’t wait to test these two out
He hardcounters Killmonger, that's one thing to take note of. I don't think any mutant comes this close to countering him. In a BGs situation if you haven't drafted a CGR or if CGR is banned and there is an opposing R3 awakened Killmonger, he'll come in handy
And I think it's a breather to see a generic champ like him having a truckload of damage amidst a release trend of defenders and hard counters.
Negasonic also counters him pretty well because of non contacts and her passive effects

@@orangejuice1418 No offence bro😅 Namor's damage takes a beating due to the crit resist and max sig is a necessity, hence I haven't seen him to be as viable for Killmonger.
Man I think the best class is starting to look like it’s up in the air. Tech has a super strong case for the top spot in the 7* class. Arcade looks amazing. Don’t care about north star

Lags, the champions following NegaSonic and Sable will turn up the heat in terms of excitement. This is by no means saying that the previous ones are bad but a few of them will be tuned up or down. In all honesty of the Skill class 2024 champions I prefer Sable to Bullseye 🎯 cause my reaction time is slow and I don't like perfect release mechanics for this reason. I love Arcade he's definitely bringing some much appreciated oomph on both sides of the coin defense and offense there's so much potential for him. North Star seems like Necropolis style content champion. Looking forward to the summer months especially August cause given that my birthday is in August and this year it falls on the 2nd August champion release date. These videos are great keep up the "Lags Deep Dives reaction" series.

Arcade is coming out first and then Northstar. I'll personally be getting the pre release bundle for Arcade because I expect him to be a pretty good war boss and he just looks more fun to play than Northstar who seems like any tech champ will be able to wreck him.
Northstar is just built for offense. Arcades damage looks mid af and will likely just live on defense

Wow what do we know Another defender in 2024 looks better then the Attackers were getting in 2024 make it make sense 😅. Why is Northstar a ramp up champ that once ramped up and finishes a fight has to re ramp up in the next fight why would we use him when we already have better ramp up champs I don't get it man plus he has zero immunitys and not great utility idk. But I'm all in on Arcade.
Lagacy should be loving Northstar as he is part of the Alpha Flight team and he is Canadian
Arcade looks like a lot of fun, but Northstar may not have an immediate impact. Maybe there will be a future everest quest with a Killmonger, Bullseye, or tricky skill defender that he will be good for
Looking forward to both. The two of them seem to be dual threats in their own ways. I'm personally more excited for Northstar. He immediately became one of my favorite mutant champs based on his kit alone, and he isn't even in the game yet.

You know where to utilize Northstar in any event content! The two characters I requested for the quests, are going to kickoff the summer events throughout the contest.
Especially the newest champions that are coming to the leading months ahead are Blue Marvel, Armor, Sunfire, Marrow, Agatha Harkness, Hobgoblin, Echo etc….
Some of them will be paired with unknown characters or both will be chosen randomly by their personality and opposite backgrounds.
