I truly needed this today. Thank you Lord Jesus. The devil wants me to quit. BUT I WILL keep faith. As a single mother raising two children with special needs things are challenging on me especially now that I’m homeschooling them. My hours to work are limited. I’m overwhelmed but I’m trying to provide the best I can for my sons. Lord Jesus get me through this, give me strength as I struggle to pay bills and while I struggle to buy groceries for my sons. Thank you so much for this series Pastor John. You are a man of God I trust, ever since I was a young girl in Teen Challenge and you prayed for me one service where I experienced the presence and power of God. Holy Spirit blanketed me with His love and presence for a whole year where I truly walked with Lord. Since coming back to the Lord in recent years almost twenty years later I’ve been battling severe mental torment which has manifested several times violently in the presence of the Holy Spirit but I’ve never known how to overcome and break free from these tormenting spirits and be at peace and have my mind right besides reading the Word. But I believe it could be because of unforgiveness something I’ve never heard preached or have paid attention to the scripture you read about being given over to the tormentors. I am going to search my heart and truly repent and forgive my trespassers. I thank God for you and this revelation!

I had friend. She adopted a baby boy. His parents were addicted. But father murdered someone. The adopted boy was wild and said he wanted to kill my friend at age 6. He said that quite a bit. My friend was afraid of him.
Demons are those who fell at Sodom and Gomorrah and those who fell in the flood. They are also the fallen angels, Satan's legion. Each having different authorities within Satan's kingdom (the second heaven). What happens to those who have evil thoughts continuously? Who do they serve? Who will they serve? The consequences of the reprobate mind. Who curses those with a reprobate mind? Stop pondering this question. You have your answer.
I believe that the demons came from the Nephilim that died in the flood... being half angelic beings, they survived the flood.
Enoch 15:8-10 explains that evil spirits are the offsprings of the fallen angels. The fallen angels in Jude 6 and II Peter 2:4 say that they are in chains until that day.
Pastor Allen Nolan does an indepeth teaching on this. From his teaching I believe demons are Nephilum spirits that are disembodied
I feel that Jesus is a safe source of information on all subjects so what Jesus said about the origin of demons is what I use for my position on this subject.
Jesus said nothing about the origin of demons so if it wasn't important enough for Jesus to establish a standard, I don't need to concern myself with their origin.
