Your 1 thousandth subscriber! Thank You for the upload. I loved this when it was a regular series and was very upset when it was cancelled. Now, being older, I get to re-watch it and compare my prior levels of enjoyment with my level now and see if I still like it as I once did!

I do not think there was a Dionne only version, but there were 2 versions of the song, and the series used both of them. Episodes 1-14 It was Dionne and Luther Vandross, which is heard here but episodes 15-23 before cancelation it was Dionne and Glenn Jones. I think it was replaced by the latter because that was the album version of the song.
I loved Tony Franciosa and the title song is beautiful, but this series was never going to last. For a start the title name was quite awful, it was like something from a series in the fifties. Also Aaron Spelling did the wrong thing in using most of the actors from the Love Boat in this series. However, it had a lovely charm about it.
