I bought first • Mares X-vision ultra. (Mirror green lenses for increased contrast in poor visibility conditions) Great viewing angle, but as Mark mentioned, this coating prevents my buddy’s from seeing my eyes. • aqualung teknika - 😘 this mask. Just perfect for me. By the way, #askmark : I'm also interested in the old-school design Beuchat super compensator mask (high quality silicone + excellent visibility), but wouldn't the larger volume of this mask be problematic under pressure? Can this mask be universal or rather a tribute to tradition and fun?
You can certainly dive a retro oval mask. The large internal volume is only an issue if it floods or you forget to equalise it while descending. That larger air volume will reduce to a greater extent compared to a low volume mask so you’ll feel it squeeze a bit more if you don’t equalise it. Easy to fix though, just breathe out from your nose. And if you’re comfortable with mask clearing it shouldn’t be an issue if it floods
Actually I disagree: the most important rule of suba diving is "always look cool"; we all know that. And starting today, I'm diving with the Ray-Ban Aviator Smoked Mirror.

I choosed the ocianic, because I really love the neoprene mask tape. It's much more comfortable then silican.
