Hey dude! I've been subscribed for a while but never really commented - wanted to stop by now and say that I've always enjoyed your ~10 minute videos, and the chiller genres you tend to showcase here. I totally support your choice to take a step back and make the content that you want to, without burning yourself out. Content creation is honestly draining, especially when you feel like it's directly changing the type of music you want to focus on and make. I think these types of candid videos, where you're making what you want to, are still going to be just as educational, and at least you get to enjoy it too. Ryos is another producer who makes similar content, and I've always found his stuff a good watch. Glad to see you back. :)

Exactly brother, quality over quantity is the policy i'd say. Take your time. Blowing people minds is always a good way to gain a sub imo.

Welcome back man ! I m following many you tube channels about music production. Its not easy to say why some channels seem to go up more quickly than others. Your channel offers value , more than the average. But it is not always a linear relationship between "value offering" and quick popularity of the channel. To my opinion, your videos were very close between them , and the listener didint have time to digest all the info. More imortantly ,we need more explanation of why and how do you do thinks in the process of making the track. So maybe it fits the channel more if you do less quick productions , and more slow paced productions (every week or every 10 days in more detail). Because this channel is not a channel about entertainment , in which the subscriber wants more dense videos, just to have a happy time.

Content Creation can be super exhausting.
In the end, try to find a healthy balance. Finding your niche within the yt-algo is alright, doing videos only for the sake of filling this niche, always checking the video's stats, performance, watchtime etc, is incredibly stressful and not worth it imho. Some videos might perform poorly after release but blow up in a year, you never know. So why not just do what you enjoy and only when you feel like doing it instead of within a certain schedule etc.
I personally enjoy weird, uncut streams that show the whole process a lot. Do whatever makes you happy and don't try to perfect everything everywhere all the time.
I enjoyed this video a lot.
