I have just bought a Bass station 2, but have no synthesis experience. A lot of the presets have a sort of swelling of the frequency and volume as I play legato, or simply fast phrases. What is the feature by which is turn this of or edit it? Any help would be very much appreciated?
Thanks for getting in touch. It's probably best that you contact our customer support team so we can explain the features. You can get in touch here bit.ly/NovationSupport There are several ways that you can change that kind of behaviour. It's difficult to provide a solution to your question without a better understanding of what it is you would like to change. You may want to experiment with the Decay, Sustain and Release values as they can be used to manipulate the duration of the played sound.
hey, I hope you'll respond, I know this was posted ages ago, but I'd like to know when set to Multi mode, if the attack and decay are set to max, does the envelope pick up from where it left off when playing staccato like it does on an SH-101, or does it start from zero every time? thanks!
Envelopes always continue from where they left off - regardless of Triggering mode. The envelope will never reset "to zero". In Multi mode, the envelope moves back to the attack stage on every single note press, regardless of staccato/legato.

@@NovationTV sorry for thread jumping, but do the oscillators have a phase reset? So just like a retriger per note? Cheer's
