Two things that made this shoe accessible
1. The majority of new sneakersheads don’t like 12s (which I love cause I grew up on 12s)
2. I feel like more stock was allocated to actual people than on the online release. The people that wanted them, got them. Raffles, discord raffle, in-store raffle. So many ppl hit before the online release.
I actually like that these are selling for below retail right now, because I didn't land them initially. But, now I'm able to get both the white and the black for below retail. I can get those lower prices just by sacrificing my ideal size by going up or down a 1/2 size, which saves me $100-$140 atm. I think the white version looks a bit better, but I just can't trust that inner white liner, so my whites will stay on shelf, and the blacks will be the ones I can wear and enjoy. Had the shoe market not crashed right when these were dropping, I'm sure they would have been a hyped pair of shoes, but I'm glad that's not the case.

Hit the raffle on the black pair, and materials and execution are just excellent. Colors are outstanding, and I was super hyped for these when the leaks of it happening hit months back. Some may view sitting as flopping, but with the culture shifting to reselling, I view it as opportunity to grab dope kicks

Got both and they’re dope. I don’t have any bleeding on my white pair or at least I can’t tell. So glad resellers backed off so regulars could cop at retail. I think there will be some regret that these were passed on, definitely the black pair when it hits the fall.

It “flopped” because people dont wear Jordan 12 so much. Everyone wants ones, threes and fours. Especially in Europe, now with mids and Dunks nobody even look at 12. Thank God because I love 12. Only think that sucks at these is that there is no US12 available that much

Really good video. I didn't even think about the point about messaging but could definitely see it pushing some people away. Generally it look like more releases are sitting going back to November of last year with the Khaleds, but it could be due to increased stock or folks being more selective with the pairs they're going after. I know I wasn't really checking for either pair like the previous AMM collabs, but I also went a little crazy with my pickups the last two months and needed to chill so it's for the best. But hope folks that like these can get them easily without paying resale

I just copped under retail on eBay. They have a 10% off sneakers over $100. Copped for like $224 after shipping and taxes.

The burgundy bleeding onto the white is a easy fix and 100% corrects this issue. Hit the affected areas with alcohol and some cotton and youre good to go. If the stitching got dyed then hit it up with a little dab of reshoeven8r and youre also good to go. I have both. First I got the black ones....I was blown away so much so that I got the white ones. They are hot af! What does resell value have to do with whether a shoe looks good or not? If you like them then that's all there is to it.
They make it a female size run and the smaller sizes mostly that fit women sit and the bigger men's size sell out haha
Both are tough. And so cheap now. You can get either pair for around 130-140 for new/like new condition
I like the black pair better anyway. Give it 3-5 years they regret it. Especially around autumn time 💯

Actually wearing my white AMM 12s today for the first time and they look amazingly better on feet imo. Did have the bleeding on both pairs of white and I’m okay with it. Praying that we are slowly getting away from this resell culture in sneakers and a little bit closer to the way it was pre pandemic. Thanks 🙏🏾 for the great episode!
Stop with the click bait. The shoe ain’t a flop. People who wanted the shoes to wear were able to cop. Just bc resale wasn’t what people thought doesn’t mean it’s a flop. I hit on both and I’m happy with that. I buy what I like. Which all sneaker lovers should do

I’m burnt out on Jordans personally , I’m shifting more to Reebok and New Balance
When you first get them, spray them down generously with stain/water repellent. It definitely helps a ton
They should have used a nubuck leather instead of that hairy suede, would of had a premium look and feel.
I copped the black ones and don't really care what others say about it. Just because it doesn't sell out doesn't change how I like them

Loving the white pair. My only problem with the black pair is I wish they would have used a black leather upper instead of suede.
i thought about the same sort of thing with the "conversations amongst us" stuff from new balance. i mean with a sneaker its ijkyk ...i mean this is honestly longer than i thought about it to begin with lol. that being said i wonder if thats why the t-shirt from that collection thats a sketch of a pair of 550's hanging over a steel folding chair was available (still is?) on the site because that is such a dope t shirt....i thought it was anyway lol picked it up on drop day worried it would sell out lol.
My issue with them was it was hard to get a M12. All of my local shops, Jordan store and Nike only got up to a women’s 12 so I couldn’t cop at all.
Well if the price was down to like $100 which is about what they’re worth. I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for them.
I didn’t think I was going to like the black pair until I got them in hand …and on top of the bleeding on the white pair the left shoes toe box came completely smashed in ..big dissatisfaction and quality control issues
They do transfers with a suede brush too on the whites, caution- and who knows maybe a nice coffee dip coming soon….

i got a question. i’ve been considering the white pair but i dont know too much when it comes to bleeding. does the bleeding occur just by walking and normal use or is it because the dye on pants, and how do u fix color bleeding when it occurs?

I love the black pair had to get 2 pairs and it was easy to get directly from retailers. Didnt pick up the white but I'd be willing to trade for a pair or sumthin but they so flashy probably cant rock so easy. These for sure slept on just like the A Ma Maniere AF1s

For anyone who has the black pair. Does the black material look as ashy in person as it does in pictures? Also would it be something that scuffs easily? The black pair looks nice but every time I see close up pictures of them it throws me off
I grabbed a few Qtips and alcohol and gently wiped the lil that was on my white pair. It came right out, no problem. These are beautiful shoes and I'm so glad I copped.
Then in my opinion don’t think it flopped I think because of high retail price one high factor. Also, I like the black color little more than white pair. Lastly, I have couple Nike and Jordan sneakers that bleeed
i really wanted both pairs. Had my sister enter as well, and she won both, i won both, so i have two pairs of both. I don't care for the resale aspect, i am happy to have them as a fan of the 12's. they are one of the most comfortable (once you break them in)
For myself I would get the black pair. But the white pair looks cool because the extra details pop!

@@El_Chamuco713 for mine it did. I just had a light spot on the leather and a small spot on the rubber in the heel area. But the magic eraser got it out. I heard about the trick from someone on the a ma maniere discord and other people said it worked as well

The white pair is my favorite.
I was very concerned with the bleeding on them so I actually passed on both pairs. I like my kicks to be durable and with the bleeding I question the durability of these

Black ones Forsure better. No one should be ok with factory flaws like paint bleeding. I bought a white pair too got rid of them immediately paint bleeding everywhere. If their going to charge this much at retail they should really look into more quality control

Absolutely live this shoe. It is excellent quality. I have the black ones, going to pick up the white ones next. They definitely didn't "flop"...that's just a dumb term resellers ise when they can't make money off of others. Suede spray protection prevents bleeding. This also happens when you buy colored suede or any natural material, good quality leather especially. If the message deters anyone, they aren't part of the true "sneaker" culture which is all about inclusivity. 😊

Really wanted to try my luck on the black pair but it never dropped in Japan.
But two days ago they had a little stock of AMM 4s which i took an L for AGAIN so ill buy them from a reseller.
Prices came down a bit for the 4s and i really want a pair sooooo... no other choice.
But hey, they are "only" $70 over retail, so it isnt that bad yet.
