      @@fisheatrepeat yeah I wonder what was going on with the almighty UA-cam AI there. Maybe it just had a bad day and was a bit confused, randomly putting comments into review mode, LOL

      yeah they like fish bait, eh. There is a rumour that they don't take squid bait. What do you think about that? I personally have never caught one on squid.

      That big table out the back was one of the tables we had for our wedding.
      Spent many a good hour eating drinking and playing music out there.

    This guy obviously does not know that the Kaipara is full of white sharks. I for one would not kayak there

      Yes full of them not wize to use berly out here if your in anything small. Everytime ive used it theyve turned up.
      No shortage of pups a few around four meters and one big female thats at least 6 meters. Looked bigger than the 7mtr boat.
      But theyre not supposed to get that big 🤷‍♂️

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  Рік тому

      @@deanbristow4596 Yeah I wouldn't even use bait from a kayak. Just lures and never seem to attract any sharks that way. Seeing the big 6 meter GW would have been exciting :) Did she come up to the boat? And was it in fairly shallow water or further out in the middle of the harbour?

      @@Fishingreminder it done rounds had flasher rigs all around its mouth at the end of south head in the channel by the cliffs.
      My mate thought he had a kahawai on till it pop its head up out of the water i missed it but they all said a 44 gallon drum wouldnt of touched the sides if eaten.
      I seen a 4.5 meter one between shelly beach and the concrete marker. And another 3 meter one up by the entrance of the helensville river. Makes you wonder how far up they go.
      Back in the 60s a big one followed a shark boat all the way to helensville eating school shark bits the boat was throwing over as they trunked them. They said tiger shark 12 foot but ive never heard of them in nz. Good story though.
