Yeah, they could have the trip to middle east before the trip to America, for example, this season being Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and then US, Mexico and Brazil
Yes Marina needs to drop 200-500 million into a renovation bring in enough dirt to make the track elevation go from sea level to 500-1000 feet above sea level and add about 10 turns out of the unnecessary long fucking straights. I want to see racing not someone flat out all by themselves. Yeah they are going fast but without actual racing which Yas Marina does not live up to. This track after 5 laps not one car is within a turn of each other. It ends up looking like qualifying. Very boring.... I fall asleep every time I watch this race. That's how boring it is. Please either 1 of 2 things needs to happen. Get it off the racing calendar or renovate the track. You don't have another option. The track as is well its worthless.

But turns the whole family were mad Ferrari fans and we watched the race ....intensely. Ice broken. We all got excited when it looked like Massa was about to win the WDC, even started cheering insanely when he crossed the line....... only to fall into dismay when Lewis passed Glock. The passion was so intense.

Our racing culture is not as vast as other countries but is still big, but it didn't mattered at the end, we all would sit down and watch an amazing race on an amazing racetrack. And besides the "S of Senna" turn is still something kind of sentimental, my grandparents and parentes told me all about him, he was a hero and we are all glad that his memory will always live in that track
Im from Brazil and the interlagos race is the most antecipated race for us in Brazil, we just love to have the world looking to us, and is nice to know that the f1 fans love our track, is a pleasure to have the f1 event in my country and i hope that remains like that
I went 3 times to Interlagos for track days with my cars back when I lived in Brazil. Even though it was the only circuit I ever drove I can tell that the elevation and the way you can flow through the circuit makes it delightful even with a slow car
it is in the form of the perfect silk ribbon or as the molten metal would shape itself as it cools naturally with unbroken continuous fluidic bends and subtle, gradual elevation and camber variations, so amazing
I am from Rio de Janeiro, and the Jacarepaguá race track held the F1 GP Brazil for ten times, before it moved to Interlagos in the São Paulo state in 1990. The Interlagos race track was demolished for the Olympic games.
Why it is a fan favourite? Simple: It always produces a great show! Even if a season is as dull as a pair of socks, it manages to bring something spectacular to the table. No matter what era of F1 is racing there, this circuit throws a challenge and knows how to do it. The same could also be said about Hockenheim, Melbourne or Suzuka, but I believe that’s another topic.
I believe the drivers consider Spa their favorite track, but Interlagos could be the favorite to watch on TV or in the circuit. Very cool race, even better in rainy conditions haha.
I’m new to F1, Just got into it this year, and just by looking at the track and old footage and it looks like the best track ever. Change. My. Mind. Edit: oNlY 120 LikEs ComE oN We cAn d0 BetTeR
Even though Monaco was cool, I never really liked the track, The only thing i like about Monaco is the hairpin... And some parts are just horrible on regular turns. e.g. the exit of the tunnel as well as the chicane, the last corner and the exit of the corner after the hairpin. Edit: And the only overtakes are in the pits
I’m with you there! Doesn’t have the best corners, though MY GOD there’s so much history in the Senna Esses alone, but for an overall track, Interlagos FTW. Spa, Silverstone, and Interlagos are the only three tracks that, IMO, would take an absolute MADMAN to take out of the calendar.
This is one of the top 3 best tracks in F1, located in a city where rain can come out of the blue and quite often does in racing days. What else can you ask for?
For me this is the best race track in the world. I was there in 2015 and 2018. Such a magical place, atmosphere, racing, everything. Its hard to explain, it was like to live a dream, absolutely wonderful 🤩
I feel like Interlagos MUST be the season finale ! It has offered some great moments over the years. I started watching in 98 so I wouldn't know before that. But everytime, it's AT LEAST a good race, with half the GPs there being great, and some legendary ones. And a season finale, the unpredicatability of this race, the weather of the region, and the nature of the track makes it perfect for a tense title decider ! Of course we had 2007, 2008 and 2012. While Abu Dhabi didn't produce any great race. I love the combinaison of Albert Park as GP n°1 (and the changes they've made are exciting) and Interlagos as finale !! Sadly, the Gulf Oil Money took over and they have the final races now... I'd rather have a final 3 of Suzuka, Sepang and Interlagos. But hey... At least it's still here for now :x but if it was to disappear, it would be tragedy for F1 as you said, just like if we lost Silverstone, Suzuka, Spa or Monza. Or Monaco for different reasons.
and Interlagos has been one of the final races only since 2004, before that the brazilian races were always among the first ones in the season. It's a great track, don't get me wrong, but the best part for me, and that's ideal in a season finale with title fight, is the rain. You're always wandering if it's gonna happen, how much will it rain, and how things will shake up due to it and in the case of us brazilians that know the track better, from which direction it will arrive (from many places it's a lot, but from one specific part is a biblical downpour). The elevation change is a strong net positive in favour of the racing itself, for me it's one of the fundamental points of a great track.
@@otaviofrnazario Yeah I agree, rain in a season finale is great. And we'll never get it at Abu Dhabi. Other tracks like Suzuka have made for a great season finale.
estamos ansiosos pela corrida, modesta parte também achamos que o GP Brasileiro é um dos melhores do calendário ano após ano na temporada. Obrigado pela citação! tmj
Interlagos is a great track to drive on in the games, and to host races at. We've had many classic races here, and I'm really glad F1 will stay there, instead of moving to Rio.
so do I. If we had Jacarepaguá still, I would disagree with the move, but knowing it would be in a good place for racing. Thing is that our president between 2018-22 is from Rio and he waged a political war against the São Paulo State Governor at the time. That's even why the name was changed to "São Paulo Grand Prix"
November 14, 2021. Interlagos has another historic F1 race. Being Interlagos, ok, another normal race day, after all we ALWAYS have good and historic races here. Thanks for the nice video and text.
I remember shouting at the TV when Vettel got spun with my dad as a kid. I remember watching raikkonen win the championship as a kid. I remember sharing the pain Massa and his entourage felt. I also remember Button avoiding being kidnapped but that isn't racing. This track should be a the season ender regardless of how poor the area is. That adds to it. Brazil and F1 go hand in hand thanks to the past. I hate ending on Yas Marina, it should be a mid season race. The last race should be mean so much to everyone that it is hard to explain but interlagos gives me that feeling and I think certain drivers would feel the same. And this is coming from a half Irish/ half French dude.
Best place in the world! I grew up in the Interlagos neighborhood and fell in love with motorsport since I was a child, so many good moments there. I haven't had the chance to race on the main circuit yet, only on the Kart Track, which is also amazing, but I believe that this will happen soon. Long live Interlagos!
By living very close to Interlagos (close enough to listen to the cars as if they were inside my house) i never gave too much attention to the place. For me it was just another place in the city. Just something to refer to my house (when people ask me where do i live). It's good to see a racing fan talking about a place that was always so common and close to me that i never gave too much attention.
We often have championships decided in Interlagos. The drivers run very excited there and there are always fights and overtakings. I'm proud that this amazing circuit is in Brazil and I love watching the Grand Prix there.
Personally, the top circuits in the F1 calendar, in terms of how legendary they are, are Monaco, Monza, SPA, Suzuka, Silvestone and Interlagos. I'm so proud of having a temple like Interlagos in my home country. Makes me proud of being Brazilian. It's such a shame that time and time again people try to take this track from the F1 calendar. Not only because it's my home GP, but because it's so legendary. Viva Brasil! Viva Interlagos!
As much as I'd like a dynamic calendar, changing venues every odd year (wherever nations have Grade 1 tracks to spare) Interlagos is much more F1 to me than any other track out there.
Thre is nothing to add after the race in Nov 14th 2021. Interlagos brings huge emotion. The public, environment, track, racers. Simply amazing. Proud to be Brazilian.
Australia opener, Monza, Spa, Montreal and Interlagos are definitely my top 5 (they are *not* in order here). Removing one of them would be an absolute heartbreak for me
Bem vindos a Interlagos!
I have run 3 marathons in Interlagos. It is called Ayrton Senna Racing Day. In Switzerland there is a city called Interlaken (the same meaning). There are two dams around Interlagos. It is really "between lakes"
For real this track gives you everything you wanted as a racing fan and that includes chaos. If the new fans think Baku produces chaos, boy they need to look at the old Brazilian GP's!
13-14 seconds of full speed from "junção" curve to Senna S, and then we have 11-12 seconds of full speed from the initial of "curva do sol" to end of "reta oposta". Very fun to see the fight in these two full speed actions, like Vettel vs Leclerc in 2019.
it's great to see that there are people who love the interlagos circuit, but at the end of the video of it being replaced by a new one in the river, this is something very difficult to happen and if it does it will generate a lot of riots. interlagos is really perfect
Brazilian here, first up much love, your videos are awesome ! We love Interlagos and the Rio ideia was a flop since the beginning, it was more of a political thing, so we knew that Interlagos wasn't leaving the calendar. I live in Sao Paulo and I can say that F1 is one of the biggest events in the year for the city. We love F1 even though we don't have a Brazilian driver on the grid, it's part of your culture, mainly because of Senna. Believe it or not, we still have all of the races and qualifying in open television !
Born and raised in the neighbourhood quite close to a favela. I still remember as a child running to open up living room's door and lowering tv volume to listed to the cars. Ótimas memórias ❤

You put in words what I think about this awesome track. You nailed it! 👌🏽
2:27 it still hurts
I am from Rio de Janeiro, and the Jacarepaguá race track held the F1 GP Brazil for ten times, before it moved to Interlagos in the São Paulo state in 1990. The Interlagos race track was demolished for the Olympic games.
I hope everyone gets a chance to come to interlagos, it is an amazing track and the atmosphere is just perfect.
This should be the final race of the season. This race is just amazing
I'm Brazilian and I loved your video, really this track is very special, full of challenges for riders.
It is indeed a really unique course!
The view you have from so many points its unique!
Really depends on the car, monaco used to be fun to watch too but now the cars are as thick as alonso's alpine at hungary.. mind changed?
Even though Monaco was cool, I never really liked the track, The only thing i like about Monaco is the hairpin... And some parts are just horrible on regular turns. e.g. the exit of the tunnel as well as the chicane, the last corner and the exit of the corner after the hairpin.
Edit: And the only overtakes are in the pits
Interlagos is definitely in the top 3 best circuits for me. Personally i like Spa and Suzuka more.
Interlagos for the most part has put on good races. It’s one of my favorite tracks in the F1 games too.
For me this is the best race track in the world. I was there in 2015 and 2018. Such a magical place, atmosphere, racing, everything. Its hard to explain, it was like to live a dream, absolutely wonderful 🤩
I’ m brazilian, and i’ve been there when Interlagos received Lollapalooza 3 y ago. Its such a rollercoaster, and its so incredible
@@hugolouessard3914 Suzuka is another great season finale, Japan has a ton of history as it
I'm from Brazil and is so cool see a guy of another country make this vídeo
Thanks mate!❤️ VAI BRASIL!!!
I'm from Brazil and also we here love Interlagos, not only the f1 drivers and fans, but the track day's people too 🇧🇷
As a Brazilian, i love this track too, even for Touring Car Race this track is awesome.
Ps. Your Portuguese is good, you should try it more times.
I was born in SãoPaulo long time ago and I still live here. I watched great races in the old and the new circuit. Interlagos is a iconic racetrack.
I'm watching the video after the Sprint Race in Interlagos and I should say that it was better than a lot of GPs... #InterlagosParaSempre
This track will always be the best track to finish the F1 season! Money doesn't buy tradition!
Bro, Yas Marina shouldn't even be an F-1 track lol

This is my first season as a F1 fan, and this hyped me for the Brazilian Grand Prix! Looking forward for some incredible racing this weekend!
Did you like?
Awesome Video. Couldn't agree more. This track as some kind of unseen natural flow paired with exciting races.
Interlagos, Portimão and Spa are my favorites
As much as I'd like a dynamic calendar, changing venues every odd year (wherever nations have Grade 1 tracks to spare) Interlagos is much more F1 to me than any other track out there.
I have no problem with dynamic calendar, but some tracks should be deemed classics and have a permanent spot
Thre is nothing to add after the race in Nov 14th 2021. Interlagos brings huge emotion. The public, environment, track, racers. Simply amazing. Proud to be Brazilian.
Do Brasil, há você, meu muito obrigado!
Australia opener, Monza, Spa, Montreal and Interlagos are definitely my top 5 (they are *not* in order here). Removing one of them would be an absolute heartbreak for me
I just received this video after the best sprint race of 2021 and I fully agree with it. Thanks.
Who is here after Interlagos 2021? Best F1 race in years, simply amazing
Bem vindos a Interlagos!
It never fails to deliver!!

Its 2023 and in the very first day of the f1 weekend at the Brazilian gp, interlagos has already given us a memory we wont forget anytime soon 😍
I have run 3 marathons in Interlagos. It is called Ayrton Senna Racing Day. In Switzerland there is a city called Interlaken (the same meaning). There are two dams around Interlagos. It is really "between lakes"
Just reminds me Senna ranking here. I lost the happiness after that. Maybe one day will back. Beautiful video, thank you! 🙏🏻🇧🇷❤
Some other thing that makes me love Interlagos circuit even more, is the fact that I live just 4,75 km away from it, in a straight line
Interlagos is great. I'm proud to live right beside the track. Bora Brasillll
My Favourite F1 track
Great video, just would add that is the best track for the fans, from reta oposta stands you can see almost the whole track.
it's great to see that there are people who love the interlagos circuit, but at the end of the video of it being replaced by a new one in the river, this is something very difficult to happen and if it does it will generate a lot of riots. interlagos is really perfect
My top five F1 tracks:
1. Spa
2. Monza
3. Interlagos
4. Baku (haha)
5. Suzuka
Brazil appreciated this video, thank you!
