I liked the verses, probably because I relate to them though. There have been many moments in my life where after I got out of a bad situation, and my negativity about it would lead to another undesirable event because I left the problem unreconciled and ran from it. A good example was I left my job one night pissed and slammed my door so hard my window fell into my door frame. I was pissed about it, but I ran from the problem at work instead of reconciling with the people that caused it or could do something about it. If I had someone to talk to after work (strength in numbers) it probably would have helped. But my negativity (don't let your mindset be what controls you) led to a whole new problem. I definitely relate to the other depressing lines in the verses but the point is, just because the verses didn't hit home with you doesn't mean they don't to others. I will agree though the get up and run as far as you can line, into the don't run away repeating part is kinda contradictory though. Like bruh, you just told me to run!
