It is not narrated in either the Qur'aan or the Sunnah precisely when the Mahdi will emerge, but he will emerge at the end of time. However we must point out the following:
1- The emergence of the Mahdi will be one of the last minor signs of the Hour.
2- Many people claimed that the Mahdi has emerged or will emerge to support their personal aims and misguided beliefs, such as the Qadianis (Ahmadis), Baha'is, Shi'ah and other deviant groups. This has led some later scholars to reject the ahaadeeth which speak of the Mahdi or to misinterpret them by saying that what is meant by the Mahdi is the descent of 'Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary -- peace be upon him) at the end of time. Some of them quote a hadeeth that is attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) which says, "There is no Mahdi apart from 'Eesa ibn Maryam."
This hadeeth is da'eef (weak) and cannot be soundly attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). See al-Silsilah al-Da'eefah, 1/175, by al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him).
3- Many scholars have written books confirming that the Mahdi will emerge, and describing that as part of the belief ('aqeedah) of the Muslim. For example: al-Haafiz Abu Na'eem, Abu Dawood, Abu Katheer, al-Sakhaawi, al-Shawkaani, and others.
4- It is proven in the Sunnah that the Mahdi will meet 'Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) and that 'Eesa will pray behind him.
Muslim (156) narrated that Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, 'A group of my ummah will continue to fight for the truth and prevail until the Day of Resurrection. Then 'Eesa ibn Maryam will come down and their leader will say, "Come and lead us in prayer." But he will say, "No, you are leaders of one another" -- as an honour to this ummah.'"
The leader mentioned in this hadeeth is the Mahdi. According to a report narrated by Abu Na'eem and al-Haarith ibn Usaamah, "Their leader the Mahdi will say..." Ibn al-Qayyim said, "Its isnaad is jayyid (good)."
5- The Muslim should not wait for the emergence of the Mahdi, rather he has to strive hard and devote his efforts to support Islam, and to do whatever he can for the religion. He should not hope and wait for the emergence of the Mahdi or anyone else, rather he should correct himself, his family and the people around him, so that when he meets Allaah he meet Him having done his best.
DAJJAL (ANTICHRIST) -
There are over fifty scholarly comments on the meaning of the word Maseeh (Messiah). They said that this word is applied both to the Truthful One [True Messiah, i.e., 'Eesa (Jesus)] and to the misleading liar [the "antichrist" or Dajjaal]. The Messiah is the Truthful One, 'Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary), the Messiah of guidance, who healed those who were born blind and lepers, and brought the dead to life by Allaah's Leave.
The false messiah (al-maseeh al-dajjaal) is the liar who leads people astray, the messiah of misguidance who will tempt people by means of the signs that he is given, such as bringing down rain, reviving the earth to bring forth vegetation, and other "miracles."
So Allaah has created two messiahs, who are opposites of one another.
The scholars said that the reason why the Dajjaal is called maseeh (a "messiah") is because one of his eyes is mamsooh (lit. "wiped"; smooth or abraded, i.e., he will be blind or defective in one eye). Or it was said that it is because he will survey or travel throughout the earth (yamsah) in forty days... The former view is more correct, because of what was said in the hadeeth narrated by Muslim (no. 5221) from Anas ibn Maalik, who said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'The Dajjaal will be blind (mamsooh) in one eye, and between his eyes will be written 'kaafir'...'".

No matter how many times I hear it, I love listening to Lectures about Al-maseeh al-dajjaal. Khilfah is Near brother and sisters. Rasulallah (saws) says in the hadith that is authentic: Every century (100 years), Allah (Azza wa jal), would send someone [or some people] who would revive the religion again. It died in 1924 so by 2024 Khilafah will emerge before that. (Inshallah)

"Moses" did not worship Jesus. "David" did not worship Jesus. "Noah" did not worship Jesus. "Abraham" did not worship Jesus. "Jesus" did not even worship Jesus: Matthew:14:23, Matthew: 26:36, Matthew: 26:39, Luke: 9:28, John: 14:16. Jesus and all the messengers of God worshiped God, so why do you worship Jesus? This is a question which you must ask yourself. May God guide those who are sincere to the truth. Peace.

Better get going memorizing forreal then. Cuz i've never known wether or not this dajjal thing is true or not cuz i've heard so many different things from so many people. But after i heard this talk where it's said in the quran, i'm more sure. It takes like gazillions of hours for me to memorize surahs but for safetys sake ill. Thanks. And yes, inshaAllah.
If u knew about the fitnah of the dajjal u wouldnt want to be alive then.
What will happen to the Mahdi once Jesus (p) descends ? What is his fate ?
This whole thing bout the dajjal is bit scary.
1. Noone can change what Allah wills!
2. It doesn't matter because Allah has sealed their hearts. Allah says in the Quran: They Have Eyes But Cannot See, They Have Ears But Cannot Hear.
[2:6] As for those who disbelieve, it is the same for them; whether you warn them, or not warn them, they cannot believe.
[2:7] Allah seals their minds and their hearing, and their eyes are veiled. ... [2:12] In fact, they are evildoers, but they do not perceive.
And only Allah knows best!

Assalamoualaikoum But Yaseer Qadhi quoted in Mahdi between facts and fiction that these non muslims would be prisoners that have converted to islam and from Rome may be European but this guy is saying the covenant between muslims and non muslims would spark a fight later after they won over an army because each declaring victory fighting that greater army.Which is true??Yaseer Qadhi makes sense but can anyone clarify??

The Stations of Imam Mahdi, Messiah, Apostle, Guardian, Prophet, Messenger and Leader are shared by us all, each of us has responsibilities and are accountable for Nurturing, Encouraging, Empowering, Supporting and Inspiring each of us to be our best.
The only signs of a so called Dujjal will be those living in ignorance resisting good advice in taking up the call Mohammed PBUH narrated over 1400 years ago to Pursue a Life Long Quest for Knowledge Understanding and Compassion
Along with this education and training we need counseling as well as access to excellence in Medical and Mental Health Treatment, Assessments, Supports and Follow Up as many individuals are unaware that there may be health issues that are causing them to act out violently or abuse people.
In the world today we do not see examples of Dujjal but people with a poverty of mind, body and spirit.
It is our job to let Mankind know there are healthier options than violence, being abusive or going to war. So lets get to it.

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers.
Jesus is my GOD and my savior! He is actually the dajjal that muslims believe to be evil but he is the one who loved us and gave his life for us, satan tries to prevent people to believe that Jesus is God
