anyone also notice the symbolism of the chalk circle at the end? In his Quicksand video the boy at the start is stood within a large chalk circle and struggling to get out of it. In this video, the circle is smaller, symbolic of his struggle lessening. He steps out at the end as an adult with ease. Beautiful stuff. Well done Tom. Give yourself more credit for being a fighter.
I guess it's a cocaine circle, refering to Tom's problems with drugs. In a interview, he said that he felt losing his daughter and wife for cocaine. In my point of view, getting out of the circle symbolizes getting rid of the drugs. The drugs were putting he in the dark, and now he "see it so clear".
The circle could also be smaller because he's "bigger" now :)
@@gbayres Wow, powerfully symbolic. His music helped me through my recovery after a suicide attempt in 2016. Stayed clean and sober to this day, grateful for the inspiration and motivation his music gave me. Quicksand was the catalyst that gave me hope. I went on to run a recovery program for a time and See It So Clear was like a theme song in my life as I gained clarity and moved forward with an appreciation even for the darkness in my past.

What a beautiful comment! I saw him and his band last 08/05 in Dublin and was mesmerised. His voice managed to get even better over the years and I simply couldn't believe I finally got to see him sing. Waited for over 10 years for a chance to see him sing live! Can you imagine my happiness ?!

I saw Tom sing this in Chicago. The show was so wonderful and every song was excellent. Hearing his voice live was a great experience and a privilege. One of the most beautiful voices out there. Such talent and lovely songwriting.

Tom's take on life is so mature and balanced. As a phsycotherapist in training I find it refreshing. And more than that, hes my favourite artist now, since seeing him live with Keene, have such respect for them as a band and creators of beautiful sounds.
