I've discovered that some new phones do not recognize headphones when I connect it to this setup. There is one simple solution to remove auto switch and connect "tel mute" through the switch to the radio GND (you can call it manual switch). I've hide my switch in stilos freezer above the shelf. By the way you can add very simple bluetooth reciver. I've bouth on Ali simple bluetooth audio board, then solder it inside radio: left and right channels through the caps like it is on schematic, ground as well. Moreover on the radio PCB there is integrated linear voltage stabilizer on the radiator. You can find there +5V which disapear after ignition is off - this is good way to install bluetooh! If I will have some time, I will record a video.
I did all of this but something i have probably missed. When conected it only stays on phone mode.I conected directly with small terminals behind the radio(should i use 6 pin box??) Or something else is the fix? Thank you

Nie pamiętam już dokładnie - na płycie radia jest stabilizator z kilkoma napięciami, również takimi co odcinają napięcie po wyłączeniu radia - idealne, trzeba poszukać i pomierzyć. Bluetooth sygnał audio jest równolegle przyłączony do linii phone przez rezystory 500 Ohm. Takie rozwiązanie daje Bluetooth + ewentualnie kabelek.
Zapomniałem dodać, że włączanie PHONE mode mam zrobione na przycisk - linia mute do przycisku i masy. Przycisk ukryty w schowku. Rodzaj przełącznika: taki okrągły jak w zasilaczach komputerowych ATX, idealnie plasuje się na ściance w lodówce.
Potwierdzam działa. Ale ja mam spadek jakości dźwięku. (Niema tego basu jak z płyty) a powiedzmy szczerze car audio w stilo jest najlepsze jakie słyszałem i to bez tuby.
You're wrong. Using this mode to send signal from device to Stilos radio alows you to listen MONO signal (mono means left and right mixed). There is no second or separate exteral pin to left or right chanell. Tel - is propably signal with phase changed 180*. If you want have real stereo in this mode, you could try find it on the motherboard of radio. As I remeber from external socket there is common wire on motherboard and before signal is entering to the multiplex module (big analog procesor for changing way of signal) it is gonna separate to left and right but with other impedance than on the enter to the radio. You can check and try play stereo. You have to check the signal way from socet to this module. It is long and it goes through many resistors.

Hello there :) i used ur video as inspiration to do it my self tho i used diferent pins, 7 to the net or GND in 3.5mm cable , 10 on left chanel and 12,9 to right chanel and sound is better than pins u used, also it is auto switch, but i did all that without capacitors, and my question is which exacttly u used and will sound be louder if i use them on left and right channels? Hi Sima, could you record some video or give more describtion? 7: "tel +", 10: "empty", 9: "tel mute", 12: "tel gnd". It is little bit suprising that you get stereo sound if 10 is empty. I've prepared in past audio track which give me right chanel for a second and left chanel for a second then I was able to check that both chanels works. Capacitor was used for mix two chanels without DC constant. Without that in some sytems (audio source) you will hear echo or only one chanel. To make it louder you can: - Skip input resitance on RADIO motherboard (it will help little bit), - Use additional preamplifier, - Reconfigure your Android system with root access to acive more output power. @@Szpanbix Hé Szpanbix sorry if I don't understand you. But is it possible you can make a simple diagram for it? Because if I understand you you make a manual switch and make a connection between 9 and 12 and if you put the switch on/off you actually switch from phone mode to radio and back? And great for responding you are the best. Only thing I will get a mini iso plug because with the plugs you use 9 and 12 touch each other so it won't work and it drained myn car battery so the battery doctor had to come haha.

Instand you have connect "(9) tel mute" through switch to "(12) GND". Then you can switch easily from PHONE mode to RADIO mode. I don't understand your battery draining. I use classic mini ISO blue one with dedicated PIN inside. Joint between wires and PINs are isolated with heat shrink tubing - there is no possible to touch each other. Regards!

What do mean by low comparation? Low volume or low quality? If low volume that could be phone problem: becouse nowadays our mobile phones have lower volume level than it was about 7 years ago. There is some way to bypass input resistors on the radio PCB before signal go to the multiplexer, seceond way is to modify Android seetings (it has root requiremets), modify bootloader. If there is low quality problem it could be wrong connection or one signal connected through cap to the ground. Generally quality should be as good as your sound output on the signal source (ADC resulution, noise etc.).
Dokładnie, wtyczki podobne ponieważ jest to standard mini-iso. Można dokupić. 5 lat temu emulator kosztował ok 350 zł. O ile dobrze pamiętam w niektórych radiach VW pojedynczy rezystor potrafi emulować zmieniarkę. Niestety tu sprawa nie jest taka prosta - wszystko odbywa się po szeregowym protokole komunikacyjnym z odwróconą logiką. Można się bawić. W internecie można znaleźć ramki inicjalizujące połączenie.

If you tried to connect Left to + and right to - you will reach one one channel with echo of right channel phase delay. If you have an AUX input you has different radio than present in Video. I have seen some radio on internet (alegedly Brasilian versions) has AUX input. Classic one does not have software option and input. Regards.
I think I used the same as you, I even ordered 100 so I could inspect a few and choose those that looks the best! If I have to compare it somehow I would say this: with AUX it sounds like a small portable JBL speaker BUT when I play the SAME song from CD it sounds far far better. I can even turn the volume to the MAX and it's still not that loud you can talk over it without yelling. When I'm playing from CD I can't turn it over 11-12 because it's very loud and deep.
+Pietro Candela It works very good with internal microphone! Look, if you have classic headphones, (it have 3 wire - Left channel, Right channel and ground) - you can still use internal microhone. It is becouse there is four joint socket jack in the phone, look - First is the microhone, then ground, right and left channel. If you use classic jack 3 wire the microhone and ground joint will be contected then phone will recognize it like headphones without microhone. If there is 4 wired cable jack there won't be connection between mic and ground joint. There will be impedance wich phone will recognize as microphone. So, please use classic jack 3,5 mm with 3 wire. Also you can add special microphone to your setup, then you will use 4 wired jack. Best regards!

I jeszcze jedno; czy zamiast wkładać Jacka można zamontować "swtitcha" ( czy jak to się teraz po młodemu nazywa) , znaczy jakiś przełacznik aby nie trzeba było wyciągać Jacka - a tylko przełącznikiem ?? Będzie tak działać Twoja instalka? Byłoby ciekawiej :) Pozdrawiam

Why I don't get full volume it's to low
My friend..i did the same thing as you did but the sound is low in comparation with the cd player or radio...how can i fix this?? Have any idea??

Why? It has bass. Maybe you have chossen too small capacitors?
