Why wouldn’t they at least make message notifications into dynamic island. It’s not third part app and they should have that done before the new iPhone be released

Because the Dynamic Island is intentionally separated from standard notifications. It handles alerts. I wouldn’t want my dynamic island info being interrupted with every notification I get.

Apple actually could Integrate a lite version of dynamic island into older phones. Y’all know the little light hue color bars on certain phones? Would be cool if apple in iOS 16.3 allowed, 10s and up to keep track of timers, Siri, and other stuff through a light hue, that goes around the borders of the notch. Picture this your timer is set and when you go to the Home Screen a little yellow light bar drops down from around the borders of the notch. The timer then proceeds to count down around the notch borders. Super cool right??
absolutely not I'm not an Apple fanboy, but the original iPhone set a completely new standard for mobile phones ("smartphone" wasn't even a term back then). Was Apple the first? Nope. But they marketed it MUCH better than any other competitor, making it wildly popular.

the newer iphones like the 12 13s have a notch small enough to perfectly fit dynamic island on them. they just choose not to to make people upgrade. jokes on them i got dynamic island on my android with dynamicspot fck apple bro i wanted dynamic island on my iphone 13 mini too
