So many people don't realize that this is plenty of speed for 99% (especially for a full-size sedan that's not expensive), can't forget the soundtrack.
What's really crazy is that a 2006 Charger R/T with the 340 hp HEMI actually bested it by 0.1 seconds in Consumer Reports testing. They got 6.0 seconds 0-60 in the April 2007 issue.
5.7 HEMI performance between 87 and 89 octane does make a difference. 89 is factory recommend for best performance, because it's tuned that way from the factory. Putting 93 octane is what makes no difference.
@@DMCarReviews Had my buddy with me and he used the GPS app on his phone to confirm my speedo readout. Modern day cars with digital speedos are MUCH more precise compared to old analog speedos.
Sometimes I wish I got a charger for that v8 rumble over my 23' stinger gt2 until I see how easy they break lose when the ground is even slightly damp.
Honestly I’m not a Dodge fanboy but this particular car not so much the model type in general has always been my favorite besides the Challenger and the Ram pickup truck, but this Charger wow smokes the average GM or Ford sedan by far and it definitely has more power than most sedans, the thing that hurts Dodge in long term is reliability especially since it’s Stellanis formerly known as FCA/Dalimer Chrysler anyways they have a tendency to break down a lot but proper maintenance it will last just like a Honda or Toyota but it definitely will outperform or outrun even the German cars as well! 😁 But if I had to buy any Dodge vehicle this is probably the only one I would buy besides a Challenger because there pickup truck sucks unless it has a Cummins engine everything else is questionable! 😁
The HEMI is very reliable! Although, a well built and properly maintained German car will run even longer. Just look at the taxis in Europe. They run over a million of kilometers.
@@DMCarReviews Yeah I heard the Hemi is also reliable if properly maintained and yeah that’s trouble BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Audi are all nothing like they once were, BMW is basically like a German Nissan it is hit or miss, Mercedes Benz is the German Stellanis it’s also hit or miss, Volkswagen is basically a Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Kia, and Hyundai trying to be like Tesla at the same time with too much tech, before it used to be the German Honda or Toyota not anymore it’s barely better than a Ford or GM in German standards now, and Audi is just a German Cadillac or Lincoln mixed with Acura/Lexus/Infinti so not really anything unique hardly anymore, before Audi used to be simple sports luxury car in general, and the taxis you mentioned well that’s when the Germans were head to head with the Japanese, why do you think Toyota came up with the idea of millions on an odometer of course! 🤔
