My man would’ve been in that backyard ripping that shit out himself all night and day 😂😂😂 it’s messed up they built your house on this land knowing the issues of the trees and regrowth but then they charge you to remove them when it’s a problem they created for yall.
I'm confused the Neighboor who has a fence and the trees are growing outside the fence is that considered his property?? How far back is your backyard? And is it still your responsibility to take care of trees growing outside your property? I would check how much is your backyard so your not over charged for what maybe is not part of your yard..

When you live in neighborhoods with H.O.A's they sign papers saying that they can't do or have certain stuff , so yes they can snitch to the HOA and they can fine them. It don't matter if it's your property.
No that’s not true. HOA’s are not the boss of wild land. Those trees look like they are outside the fence line, then it’s not their property or problem. If that were the case then HOA’s could just say I want you to cut all the way back to the tall trees. No way.

I understand there is rules when you live in an HOA community but what I meant is how much yard belongs to them since the neighbor who has a fence up has trees already growing outside the fence maybe jehiely and Alex did not have to cut down that far back the trees 😊

If it’s possible, maybe level it out, not by adding dirt but by digging up some of what’s there and maybe turning it into a patio area with a gazebo or pergola. Gazebo offers a roof vs the pergola is open on top. Get one of those hammocks from Sam’s or Costco that has its own stand too.

Check your land survey because that wouldnt fall on you if its grown outside of your property line
After he cuts the trees. Get a mulching lawn mower and keep mowing that spot and you can even grab a bag of grass seeds and hay and lay it down to grow grass your self, it will save a lot of money.
This is why I stay away from HOA homes when I was hunting for my home because of this type of neighbors.

I don't understand how it's not the HOA's duty to get rid of the trees they knew were there when they sold it to you. Seems like their responsibility not yours and they're getting you to do their job. It also looks like you guys cut too much based on the where neighbor's fence stops.

Your property first get a surveyor to survey your home. If it’s not part of your property it should be HOA’s responsibility to clear those trees out! Especially if you guys are paying monthly an arm and a leg just for HOA fees.

Deadass the neighbor probably did call to report y’all bc the trees were largest on your side then spread to theirs. So then you’d have to pay to remove the trees, with them knowing the ones on their side would be included in the job. Wild but people are like that.

Check your property lines. I don’t think those are y’all’s trees. You may have to fight with HOA but make sure you get property line markers.

Maybe they just want you to trim them out of your property line. The ones growing into your yard. Anything beyond your property shouldn’t be your responsibility. May want to ask before paying to have someone remove them.

If there were to be no trees then the builders should have had them removed. If nature let them grow back, or the birds shit their tree seeds there, when did that become homeowners responsibility? Trees are encroaching on your property line, and it is the community's responsibility to trim them or whoever that piece of land belongs too, im assuming the state. If the hoa managers attempt to fine you, report it to the housing department .

About the birds nest. You should look into how to move it. They will poop all over! We had one with eggs, and the babies hatched. It was crazy messy! We got rid of the nest when winter came, but they just came back and built another nest. The next year, we had to put something over all the openings so they couldn't build another. It's not like they were paying rent or anything!🤷♀️ ❤
Ohhh girl!!! I recently gone through some stressful situation. Due to our "lovely neighbors" girl it got to the point that they wanted to close down the house. All because these bozos assumed we called the city on them. (Past issues) and well loooooooonnnggg story short.... turns out it was the lady's baby daddy that reported them. Careful with them "lovely neighbors" cause they can report you numerous of times.
LOVE YOU GUYS, all that extra land is an actual asset. It belongs to you. Seek advice on what you can do to make it WORK FOR YOU. Proud of how responsible you have grown to be, with Alex grown into the head of household...both of you are being blessed with more consistent wisdom this maturing experience.
