Fantastic video Ash! Such useful info for so many players new and old. Personally my favorite was the last tip as I believe alot of people forget that sometimes. No matter how addicted you are or how much you have spent on Raid, it is and will always be just a game.

A great advice for farming artifacts on campaign, when you can farm stage 6 of Palace of Aravia on Nightmare spent some energy there for some pairs of 6star speed boots, they very valuable and EXTREMELY hard to get from dragon.

Hey Ash, I saved up 9 void shards. I pulled 8 of them, and on my 8th void shard. I got Reliquary Tender. I then stopped. Now, I have to get RT to 6* 60, but that is okay. I have quite a few champs at 5* 50, But a second reviver on the team will be helpful. Debuff strip will be helpful for some waves.

Gotta say, really liked this type of video. (I like all your videos), but talking about the lore and the commercials is really interesting. Would love to see a part 2 / series on this!
Additional note to building first team: good idea is to prioritize champs that do well in clan boss, they are generally also okay'ish in dungeons, for arena only one you really need built is damage dealer (Kael) - Spirithosts, Diabolists, Warmaidens do they job at lvl 30/40/50.
Regarding masteries: I would advise to spend gems on few champs until you can do stage 15 in minotaur (as FTP I bought masteries for 4 champs). This boils down to few things:
1. Best scroll drops are on stage 15.
2. It's not worth buying energy refill's for masteries farming until account is at minimum 40+ lvl. In my opinion is not even worth spend daily energy in minotaur until you can farm stage 15 - that energy is better spend on lvling up champs early on.
3. You probably won't be able to farm stage 15 with 3 or more (depending on luck with pulls) full-mastered champs (Warmaster / giant-slayer), because early on gear is terrible and most of the damage comes from those masteries. (Unless youre big spender, but then you would spend gems on masteries anyway)
Additional note on masteries: for first team it's better to go offense tree and take Warmaster or Giant Slayer for pretty much any champ. There are guides telling you to choose Helm Smasher or Flaweless execution, but that's usually targetted for people having half-decent gear already (5/6 star with decent stats). Early game, with crappy gear, Warmaster and Giant Slayer will result in heaps more damage - and there is free mastery reset you can use once you reach mid-game.

I'm still stuck on level 9 or 10 because I didn't find this video until now. It would've helped me much more in my first month.

I only used the revive tip and counter attack, i come back to thank you, helped me a lot, always tough it will revive the firist to last position and counter attack as random.
I have been playing this game VERY casually for like a year now. I havnt even got a 6 star unit yet, got most of my team to 5 and sort of prepping enough 5 stars to push for my first 6 star soon. Genuinely makes me feel good that I've picked up on a lot of the things in this video by myself and yet there were still plenty of things I didn't know that can help me going forward, specifically the order of your team being important, I only thought the first slot mattered for the buffs some people have so thanks for the tips. Just editing this with my biggest fail to date. Wanted my rare champion to be stronger so i used all my books on her. I think i had one legendary tome and a few other good ones, on the bright side it helped me progress. downside, i havnt seen another legendary tome yet.

Stats over sets is an amazing tip. Once I threw on any gear & got the stats for Scyl, that’s when she started carrying me through D/F20

At the start of the game, we get some kewl little bonuses- I had received a leggy crit rate gauntlets- it had crit rate/damage, speed, accuracy as sun stats I had triple rolled speed and had 1 on Crate, I was selling gear prior to putting it on Hael...I went to put them on, and they were gone- it took months to get semi-decent gloves- and I have as yet never got a gear as good as they were 8( ...btw awesome vid bro, thanks for all your efforts and work...I appreciate it even more now- dropped my 1st PodCast talk show last week, and will be looking at doing variety game streaming and some content for that too xD I get the effort and work that goes into it- and want to say I really really appreciate you, you got an amazing heart and love how you rise above it and stay so positive- even in the face of negatives
they were in perception- we got some forge parts when joined and I had got the gloves as my 1st ever forging

Addition to revive order: Champion rarity is more important then order. Whenever I level rare food in barbarian faction wars, the rare food will get revived instead of Shield Guard when doing auto, even if he's slot 1 or 2.

3+ months into this game and..from all your videos I watched..I only saw this video now and just realized how many mistakes I made early on😅, mini mistakes but mistakes neverthless..
My biggest one is not really combining masteries to utilize it best with the specific champion,and rather just not thinkin' and copying masteries instead of follow my own logic😅..Also In the begining I Fed one legendary book to Oboro because it was my first void Epic and I was Like.."Ok I just love her she s gonna be my star 🤣"..
I am sorry I didn't get this video in My own beginings of the game..extremely quality video and everyone who just started needs to watch this...This game is complex with lot of details and everything in so many sections.

New to the game and i TRY to stay free to play. i only bought the GEM EACH DAY pack to buy full mastery on my kael and will maybe use the rest of the gems on upgrading the mine for the long run and focus on kael atm to get to 6 stars and just enjoy the procress. love the videoes. you seem honest and great passion for the game. Means alot that you have your face on the videoes aswell to see your joy of explaining all these newb questions we have. amazing channel for sure.
Hey Ash. Thanks for all the help on my main over the years. I started a F2P, it's a pull magnet. The highlights are Helior, Doompriest, Jintoro, Paragon, Apothecary, Coffin Smasher, Soulbond Boyer, Giscard... others. Sniper, Zephyr, Shieldguard, Elfguard and Armiger 4* ascended and close to "booked" if you call it that with them. Day 53. I just opened up the other sparing pits, was saving gems JIK. I don't know how to get any of these guys to 6* as fast as you say. After this food cycle, I might have 1-5*, 3-4 - 4*; food with a couple weeks or so to go. I have one chicken. Thanks! The problem is I can't solo 12-3 Brutal, and 2x2 on 12-3 is 60-70%. 5* are Helior, Giscard, Kael, Doompriest, and Jintoro.
So if you're still needing help or for anyone looking ive been told I need to swap my campaign farmer. I currently solo it 100% of the time, the faster the food dies the faster Grohak floors the enemies. Still takes too long, 20 seconds to a minute, again depending on the other champs dying quickly. I'm trying to build out Saurus(uncommon) to 60, he's 50 rn and I'll have to build him masteries, but I've watched another video showing him clear 12-3 in 6 sec

I'm more endgame and whale than I am newer / ftp. But still love watching u bro, just very entertaining man keep it up. Also I was 100% and a million % set and happy that I wasnt gonna learn anything but hell I can admit when I'm wrong. And will also agree with the hint about never selling glyphs. I legit didnt even ever realize it was possible to sell glyphs lol so that's what I learned....I religiously use all 36 (or 54) keys every day. Been playing for 2 years, and I still find myself wayyyyyy short on any said glyphs. I will also add not to even waste (or "use" if you wanna go that route) any glyphs on 4star or lower gear.

Tip 50 is by far the most useful.
At the end of the day this is a game and should be played as such. I know a few players that could really benefit from remembering that.

The "Warriors Circle" offers tend to be the best value (2 epic and 2 lego books for $10, etc). They also go away when you spend money and come back if you stop.
I was out of high school when legend of Zelda came out. My grand kiids kept saying how lucky I was for being part of that era. So I let them play it . Needless to say, they were souly disappointed. These same kids got me started on raid. Been playing less than a month and I'm doing ok. Your videos are great to point out all the mistakes I have made and shows how to help me grow.
Great video man... I felt pressured to upgrade each rare champ as and when I got them spreading it really thin then starting to neglect All of them as not enough resources to go around...
So glad to find your video as being what? A week old (noobie) I can now stop wasting my time and rss trying to level and upgrade all/any of rare above champs

At 35:30, doesn't Sniper increase the stun set % since it is an artifact and not categorized under debuffs? Furthermore, the "debuff artifacts" if I'm not mistaken all fall under one of the effects constrained in the sniper description (stun set, provoke, freeze, sleep) so it would make this useless for most debuff sets.
Sniper only effects skill kit debuffs not set debuffs there is another mastery under the defense tree called Fearsome Presence that increases cc skills
