Tommy Hilfiger is one of those fragrances no matter how many times you smell it it never gets old.
I still love Tommy. I really don’t get bad performance either. It really is unique for a fresh fragrance. I don’t care what anybody thinks. Tommy still rocks lol. Ageless

I'll be 43 on the 13th and I still wear Tommy, and if I could find POLO CREST I'd wear that to. My bottle of Tommy I haved now does not last like it used to, but it still takes me back to when errytime a chic would hop in my truck they would always love the way it smelled, it's because I would spray my bandana hanging on my mirror... Love this video man.
Hearing people talk about the 80s & 90s always fascinantes me. Like, wow was it really like that? 😂 Nevertheless me being a 2000s kid, I don’t really remember my Dad wearing any sort of fragrance. But, he did talk about Aqua Di Gio being one of the most polarizing of the 90s.
Aqua di gio is still by far my favorite Cologne, and I’d say it’s more of a early 2000’s though. Tommy Hilfiger is slightly different than it used to be, but I’d say his review is spot on. Armani Aqua Di Gio is the GOAT though. I still have yet to find anything with a scent that is so special to me. Nothing I’ve smelled like it. Check out dolce and Gabbana the one, and some of the YSL fragrances especially their signature scent. I’ve never actually owned a bottle, but I promise it smells timeless

tommy still f'n rocks ... bought myself 3 bottles at ross ... my local ross puts them out and if you don't pick them up and they get bought up quickly, so its definitely still very popular

this is one of the few 1990s fragrances that does not smell outdated (like Le Male, Eternity, or CK One). On the contrary, smells even better than many fragrances of the new trends loaded with tonka bean and pepper. Tommy is truly a masterpiece.

This is the whole reason I got into fragrances. From the first time I smelled this I fell in love. Until this day, it is my favorite signature scent. I watch a lot of your reviews and they have really helped influence my choices for colognes. When I was still very young I think the 3rd or 4th grade ( I'm 33 now) I remember going to Hudsons Bay to get samples and this one just stuck with me. You have excellent taste my friend. Cheers!! 🍻
This stuff drove the girls in high school mad back in the day. So nostalgic.. I haven't used it or smelt it in many years but in my brain I can remember exactly how it smelt. Brings back so many memories.
One of my all-time favorites as well. Right up there with Drakar and Aspen. That was my main three back in the day. Along with Eternity as well. Love the 2a gear your wearing as well. Thats my other passion along with fragrances
Just went to Marshals yesterday and saw this. I should have picked it up but got first instinct blue instead. You have helped immensely when it comes to blind buying frags. The only one I’m not crazy about is Acqua Essenziale Blue. A little too powdery. Thank you for the solid advice my friend. Keep up the great content.

No way Aqua Ess Blue is like an 80-85% clone of Blue De Chanel it's awesome! But hey that's why everybody has different sense of smell cuz the world would be damn boring if we all had the same opinions about everything!!! I've passed on Tommy so often I had to get it last night just to see if it took me back 25 years... I'll let u know when I open it up! Haha

My only memories of Tommy is remembering how much you rave about it, so when I saw it at my local rack store, I bought it. Guess the nostalgia starts now!
Tommy was my first signature scent and still had the original formulation up until a year ago when I had given it away to my cousin. Had I known it was reformulated I wouldn't have given it away. I was born in 99 and I never had a bottle of Tommy, found a cheap 30ml for 14.99 at Burlington. so good. Also picked up Nautica and wave 2 for cheap.

Thank you for the review! My brother just turned 13 yesterday and entering secondary school soon. I wanted to get him a signature perfume for everyday wear that's suitable for class and not too strong. I was torn between this and Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct as I've heard these two are popular scents for younger people and both are of similar prices where I'm from. Longevity would've been a plus but I have a tiny little bottle that I can just decant this into for him to take to school and reapply if needed.
I stumbled onto this fragrance from a rack store and instantly feel in love with the scent profile. Great one especially for the price. I agree with you bro on I will always keep this in my collection. I truly love this scent!
Well brother this fragrance takes me back, I grew up in the 90’s and Tommy clothes were all the rage,my folks couldn’t afford the clothes like that except on discount but one special day on around my 16 birthday, mom took me to Macys and told me it was time for me to get a real cologne 😅 Of course you know I wanted Tommy so she bought me a 1.7 bottle and I will never forget that fresh smell in the opening. That was a good day and great memory

Tommy Hilfiger will never age . It’s so fresh - like stepped out the 🚿 …one of the best fresh fragrances ever made in my opinion. Davidoff cool water is also great but it doesn’t smell as fresh to me now , seems to be weaker . However Tommy scent profile is exactly the same to me , only the performance has changed , I get 4 - 5 hours on the skin , clothes easy 8 hours 💯
I remember being in Costa Del Sol in 1998 me and my friend purchased it to wear to the clubs , great times , it’s a nostalgia fragrance for me and smells fantastic ! I just copped a 200ml as it’s being discontinued this month …initially I bought emporio He - I took it back and changed for Tommy 😃

Nice Sean Whalen hat! I picked up a 200ml bottle from Marshals a few months ago for less then $30. It was my first fragrance purchase back in 1996. I have to admit, I'm not a big fan anymore. Total nostalgia fragrance for me at this point.
When fragrance had a connection more to emotion and could take you back in time. Love the new fragrances but may not have the emotional connection the older fragrances once did. My nostalgic connection is Cool Water.....love it.
This is actually my signature scent! I have been wearing this like every single day now and I just got a bottle of this like a couple of weeks ago! My dad used to wear this when he was in his 20s and 30s but now he wears D&G K and also La Nuit De’homme edp. I will always remember the smell of this.
I have a lot of expensive fragrances but man, this is still my favorite. Reminds me of middle and high school. Not a long lasting scent but it’s so good I don’t mind spraying on a few times a day

I always wanted this cologne, it's all I asked for. This scent is so warm and inviting. This has got to be the best cologne that makes a female want plenty hugs from you and remain cuddled up. Trust me; it's that good!
I get this 100ml banger at TJmaxx for $25 . Love the price and the scent. Only downside is I have to refresh it every 2 hours, but that bright citrus opening makes it worth it.
I started Wearing this colonge when it came out in 1995 definitely 90s scent I just recently bought a 6.4 ml bottle for 40$ in Marshalls this bottle is hard to find so I didn't have it 4 some yrs I love the way colonge smells I got a good 3 hrs out of it but that depends on where you spray I will always this bottle colonge along with cool water, original eternity, aramis and Fahrenheit you can't beat those straight classics although I wear many different colonge fragrances those 4 bottles stay in my collection those scents have great memories as a young man in the 90s I was still finding myself at that time now im 47yr old and I still wear those fragrances n for those just discovering Tommy Hilfiger now enjoy it

I just bought a new bottle of Tommy Friday Evening. Oh My God it takes me back ! Reminds me straight up of the mid 1990’s. Takes me back to 5th grade and on into middle school. I have just been flooded with memories after buying this bottle of Tommy. My family couldn’t afford the Tommy Hilfiger clothing but I did have bottles of cologne. It is wild how just this smell can remind me of so many memories that I would never be able to fully access without this bottle of Cologne that I just bought a few days back. Funny bro. My earliest memory of this is 5th grade too and im 36 as well. Unfortunately we didnt have the money then to buy my own but I always used my older cousins lol. But I remember the kid who did wear it dated my 1st crush. Lol. Picked up a bottle the other day at Marshalls. Classic for sure. It was this and Cool Water back then at school. Good review 👍
This is a timeless classic! Im 42yr old and have been wearing this since middle school! The only one out if my collection even from higher end brands my wife loves. Projection has always been great with this one which i like. Can smell it almost all day! Drydown is wonderful as well! One of my alltime favs!

I had a 30 mL that came in a gift set that was an EDC. I wondered why it didn’t last for shot. The writing on the bottle was white. I finally finished it up and got a 100 mL for my bday last year because like you, it’ll stay on my shelf as long as they’re making it. I’m a few years older than you but it was still my era too. always takes me right back to 8th grade and me and ALL my buddies smelling like it.
Been wearing this again. Used to be so popular in the 90s but don’t think many wear it now. This is a classic fragrance.
Forsure a classic. My favorite scent! Second is Eternity. Just wish they performed better. I use these as an aftershave. But will always have a bottle. And decant is a really good tip.

I agree I agree I agree. In my teens I wore this, CK One, Aqua Di Gio etc but Tommy, was the one that I enjoyed the most and had the best times with. I need to get a bottle and bring back some memories.

I never wore this back in the day because I wasn't a fraghead until I got older but I tried this at belk the other day and was surprised! Doesn't come off as dated to me? I actually like it. Dressed up for church and sprayed this and I felt like a million bucks!

I got testers of all the "best" colognes and without a doubt when I said pass me the Tommy and smelt it. There is just no comparison. Its the Don.
I’m with you brother! Class of 97’. This was my fist cologne I’m my life and I wore the shit out of it until a period hit when re you couldn’t get the “original “ for a few years. Ran out and been rocking Armani Aqua ever since. Ran into a bottle of the original today and was boiled over with memories. Went looking to see if it still holds a rep in the sent world and is anything close to what it was way back. I was happy to find your video. Thrilled they’re making the stuff again and can’t wait to rock it for old times sake. For me it’s like a Time Machine in a bottle.

My uncle gave me a bottle when back when I was in high school (late 90's) and I just found the bottle in storage and it still smells great! Had no idea how a smell can bring back so memories lol The content doesn't look as clear as yours, mine has a yellowish hue now, probably due to the age.

Recently got Jake by Hollister (blue bottle), and it smells EXACTLY the same as Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger. It even has the same 2-3 hr longevity.
Tommy a Big player fragrance when I was growing up. Along with Ralph Lauren Polo sport, Cool Water and Joop Homme. Must pick up a 30ml for old times sake. Thanks for the walk down memory lane Ross.

Clean, Old-School, Mature, Gentlemanly and really timeless.
I think there are three fragrances, which I have been smelling for years and they never start to annoy me or smell bad.
D&G - The One
Probably my favorite fragrance of all time. Not too sweet, not too manly, pure classy wood scent. Simply the most pleasing scent you get out of fragrance
YSL - L'Homme
Sweet and classy scent. I like to call it "classy fresh", because it has similar effects as a fresh scent, but it is too thick to be fresh. This is my favorite to wear and I have got the most compliments out of it.

This is what I call fresh. Super easy to use everywhere and it is light and pleasing.
Bought a 200ml bottle of Tommy on clearance at Marshall's a couple months back for @ $35....forgot how good it was!!!!!!! Will be in my rotation from here on out!!!!!!!!
I've been using Tommy for some 23 years now and found that if I put it on in the morning I get the most longevity on worm days with only a refresh around the 2:30-3pm that's why it's my summer scent

I like it but if this ever makes it back in my rotation, it'll most likely be whenever I'm running errands on cooler days because when I wore it once during a really hot and humid Florida day, I got one of those "someone smells sticky😂" comments.
Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger was the best male fragrance from mid 90s until the new millennium.. i think the 2nd place went to Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir... the following top 10 list in that era were Dior Fahrenheit, Polo Safari Men, Chanel Egoiste Platinum, Shiseido Basara, Issey Miyake Men, CK Escape, CK Eternity, etc
I'm commenting through my wife's account BUT when I saw this vid I HAD to comment!! I was in my early 20's when Tommy came out. And needless to say, even though I have always had a plethora of fragrances, the two that I consistently ALWAYS have a bottle of is Drakkar and TOMMY. I love them both equally but for different reasons. When I know(while surrounded by a sea of Sauvage, BDC, and ADG) I'm wanting to smell great but different in 2021, I'll blast myself with 4-5 sprays of Mr. Hilfiger's juice. And like yourself I find that Tommy is uniquely unique. The last sentence felt like poor grammar lol, but you get my point 🤔
All about the smell! Every smell is a memory to anyone. I bought ultra male because my brother wore it and it was a travel back in time! I love the fresh scents.. like cool water and bowling green.. definitely going for this one.. thanks.

I have this version of Tommy. It is a classic. I personally like Tommy Summer a lot more. It is fresher and lasts longer on my skin.
Thanks for the review! Just picked up a small bottle from Burlington. It's definitely not my favorite but have zero regrets buying it either. I definitely am more into heavy projection/good scent but can't beat the price. It does have a scent of its own, like you said. For me personally, a good scent to wear around the house or spray on bedding. Not something I'd wear if I want to impress somebody.

Finally picked this one up after seeing your reviews on it. It's an awesome scent, not the best performer but good enough. Especially for work and the super hot summers that we have. It does have similarities to Ralph Lauren Romance. I just sprayed both on each arm and while not exactly the same, it has a similar vibe to my nose. Thanks.

We used to go outlet shopping near Thanksgiving every year. There was a TH store. I remember being 8-9yrs old and seeing that $80 msrp tag and thinking "damn that's expensive!" I sprayed it and was hooked. It was a lady-grabber in those days. Damn! It's still in my collection. TH clothes were even hotter....had the plain white shoes with the Tommy flag on the outsides too. Polos in every color 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just picked up a 100mL for $17 on clearance at Burlington, it’s good but it smells really close to the original Michael Jordan cologne, so much so that it’s a little redundant. I get good performance on MJ, so I’ll see how tommy does. Unfortunately I have a extra bottle of MJ because Burlington had one of the Christmas gift sets with 100mL bottle for $5. I guess this will be my go to for a while to burn through it. 😂
