- First time I used an electronic self-check-in in the US. It’s quite smooth, user-friendly and fast.
Terminal 1 is just one of the 9 terminals of this U-shaped massive airport with 146 gates.
Procedure on electronic self check-in.

Boa noite! Alguém poderia por gentileza dizer se nesse aeroporto há funcionários que falam português? Eu vou para Califórnia no próximo mês, e vou sair de São Paulo com conexão em Los Angeles. Ai ai ai, Google tradutor eu quero lhe usar!😊
I’m sure of Spanish language, but not sure of Portuguese. Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Gracias.
When you select bags, do you have to get tags for your carry on or only for the checked bags
Printed tags are only for check-in bags. Thank you.
Cris I was going to ask the same thing lol
Only for the check-in bags. 😉 Thanks..
Nice clip. I love the bible vers. Blessings.
I think it's stupid that Allegiant air makes you check in at terminal 1 but then gotta get bussed to Tom Bradley international terminal. It's ridiculous
Haha.. it’s their system.. we just follow or we miss our flight.. haha..
Hehe.. I just followed rules or I couldn’t board.. haha..
Hi, after print your boarding pass and bag tag. Did you drop the luggage first before go through TSA?
Yes, you have to drop your luggage first and the attendant will check your ID and weigh the luggage. Then, proceed to TSA. Thx
@@doseofdoug8871 thankyou so much for your info.
@@heykeke you’re welcome.. hope you sub.. cheers 😢
@@doseofdoug8871 absolutely i did.😇
Is there any counter or it’s all electronic check in now
There are still counters. Customer service attendants are around to assist passengers. Thank you.
Is that it with the check in? Do need talk to anyone? Dont they search bags? Im new at this
Yes, that’s it for check in. They weigh in the back to be 50lbs only; if in excess, you remove the excess or you pay for it, but not so much excess weight. Have a safe flight..
Im worried about standing in line while they search cause i have alot of pain. I here horror storys on tv about checking being a night mare
They don’t check the check-in bag, but only put tags to it. But the carry-on bag is checked at the security. It’s a standard procedure on all airports. They’re quite organize, polite and helpful. Don’t worry about it so you don’t get stressed out.. cheers. Thanks for watching.
I Will Get there...
Have a safe travel.. thx for watching
@@doseofdoug8871 Don't mention It.See you then...
Did you put the tag on your bag or someone else puts it when dropping your bags?
Yes, the passenger has to put the tags on their luggage. It’s self-service. Then, you bring the luggage to the check-in counter who will check and weigh it. Thank you.
My primary issue is getting to the LAX terminal. If you're flying into LAX using the LAX-it is easy. If you're flying out of LAX it's one of life's great nightmares since they closed the two lanes, and dedicated them to shuttles the traffic is an absolute nightmare so my question is can I be dropped off at The LAX-it lot and use the shuttle to get to the terminal to avoid the 30 to 60 minute traffic nightmare? Does that mean the bus will not allow you on, to get to the terminal? Seems like a creative solution to the terminal nightmare, that LAX has become. Management at LAX has to be some of the worst in the country. No creativity. TSA can also be a nightmare.
Good points. Taking the shuttle bus brings you direct to the terminal and I’m not certain if there is special lane for buses but I believe so cause buses has more passengers being catered to. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video. Have a great day.
@@doseofdoug8871 Yes. The inner two lanes are entirely devoted to the buses, and that is a major contributing factor to the massive congestion at LAX. It is not working.
Ohhh when i came here in the us they gave my bording pass now its elec im not familiar to use that i will travel alone .. sir thers anybody can help me or assit me 🥲 its good i watch your video i dont have any idea on this 🥹
Yes, there are customer service officers at the boarding pass counters to assist you. It’s easy, you can manage it. Have a safe travel. Thanks for the comment and for subscribing to my channel. Appreciate it.
