My father had cj3b when he was doing engineering in amu But my grandparents gave it to our family friend a lieutenant Colonel then after don't know what happened to it , my father was very upset Have been looking for a stock cj3b ever since And I'm very happy to see in this video And since then have kept 3 safari dicors and 2 Scorpios and still have our third dicor 10 year old almost now
Civilian Jeep Uncivilized Jeeper If that is you in the CJ3B, could you please tell me if you have any modifications in it or was it restored completely to stock? Which engine do you have in it?
@@Anshyuman Sir I really enjoyed your video. One question I want to ask you is can a petrol engine Jeep of 3 speed gearbox manual give a good competition to a Maruti Gypsy on good smooth roads? If you answer this question to me I will be really grateful to you.
Gutted tyres don't really fare well in sand and is a know fact, we saw the difference when the driver shifted to the shrubs during the incline the Jeep climbed without any problem. I too own a 62 Willys cj3b but High maintainance costs and mechanical issues have just made it a GARAGE CHARM .
CJ3B is a gem but now considering the age, it will require a lot of time, effort and money to be used as frequent offroader. Get a Gypsy for regular offroading and keep the Jeep for occasional use.
Brother the NDT tyres are just 6" wide and also worn up, we already have a new set in possession but are avoiding to fit as the Jeep is in more of a Calibration phase. Its just that we wanted to test the Old World capabilities of the Jeep and bumped into Northern Overlanders. Its just 2 meets and this welcoming group is more of a Weekend Family now. We plan to be as frequent as time allows, do agree that keeping the Jeep as stock as possible is itself a limiting factor for all this but it suffices the real intent about experiencing the Old School fun.
Anshuman sir, I seek your advise, it is worthy to buy old used 90's-2004 era TOYOTA LANDCRUISERS with mileage of around 50,000 to 1,00,000 just for offroading purposes and modifications.Top gear and various auto platforms have proved time and again of efficientcy and never dying attitude of Toyotas. So sir is it worth buying
Brother the NDT tyres are just 6" wide and so they tend to dig deep. Do understand that wider tyres are required for offroading but the point is to stay as stock as possible and experience the charm of Old School techniques.
@Anshuman Video is superb, I have one suggestion.. In the end of Video if we can add slow motion of jump by PS, Storme and Jeep , it can make treat to eyes and also user can see how much jump they have..
Pls comment poora padhna bhai... Apke videos mujhe kafi acche lagte hai or me sab vdo dekhta hoon.... Apke ye vdo dekhkar mujhe bhi off roading karne ki bahut iccha hoti hai ....me ghar betha betha apki videos dekhta hoon to papa bolte hai, ki beta dekhne se kuch nahi hota ,khood kharid tab manu,to mane bola, ki mera in sab me instrest hai or me isi line me jana chahta hoon ...agar apke pas koi bhi gaadi drive karne k liye aadmi chahiye ti pls mujhe jaroor yaad karna.... pls reply hi kar dena....baki sab sambhal loonga...licence heavy hai bhai....halaki age sirf 20 hai.... Ok, ho sake ti kam dila dena bhai
Bhai, Gaadi chalaane ke liye Paise milte nahi hain, balki dene padte hain. Aur yeh ek full time job ya profession nahin hai, hum log apne khaali samay mein recreation(manoranjan) ke liye offroading karte hain. Aapke Papa theek kehte hain, ye sab karne ke liye pehle gaadi kharidnee padti hai aur phir todni padti hain
Every climb has a different trick, and its different for every car. This obstacle had a bump in the beginning, rut in the end and loads of grip in middle. So thebtrick here: 1. So one had to be slow enough to avoid flying in air and spend all the grippy area trying to settle down. 2. Be in a gear that offers immediate surge in speed, floor the accelerator as soon as you cross bump. 3. Ease down on accelerator by around 30% as you go up and floor again on the top if you feel car is slowing down.
This is called the worth watching content ...thanks for your awesome vlogs😎
Thank you so much 😀
Fortuner perform well .... And Isuzu D-max was simply great
That jumping of Safari storm 👍
3:28
you are the best Indian offroading youtube channel I have come across
Its a great way of capability comparison however I think it's not just the car it also depends on the driver as to how well he knows his vehicle
Aww these Japenese SUV's are real beast...feeling proud to own one of them....
From all your videos d max is my favorite
Love Fortuner love off roading looking for opportunity I hope I'll get it some day
Nice video Anshuman. Look at the ease with which The Toyota (both new & old) perform. Even your Isuzu. No drama whatsoever thrown at them.
My father had cj3b when he was doing engineering in amu
But my grandparents gave it to our family friend a lieutenant Colonel then after don't know what happened to it , my father was very upset
Have been looking for a stock cj3b ever since
And I'm very happy to see in this video
And since then have kept 3 safari dicors and 2 Scorpios and still have our third dicor 10 year old almost now
My relative had a Mahindra CJ500 in yellow
Pajero or Montero sport
That little army jeep thing is just awesome!
Its a Original 1958 Jeep CJ3B, not a jeep thing. :D
@@Anshyuman that is the legend one, 👌👍
@@Anshyuman but now it's not been seen in your video now where the Jeep cj3b gone
cj3 jeep is my all time favorite .
Faiez Khan Thanks and much love brother, Do keep admiring, the Jeep loves you too!
Civilian Jeep Uncivilized Jeeper If that is you in the CJ3B, could you please tell me if you have any modifications in it or was it restored completely to stock? Which engine do you have in it?
Old is gold 😅😅
Man vcross is a beast, no hiccup what so ever. I know the next car I wanna buy.
Isuzu and fortuner have an best driver
3:46 pajero engine roars like make way for king of the jungle 👑
Isuzu dmax n pajero sport unbeatable although a little doubt about pajero sport's driver experience in offroad
Great video indeed👍
Was looking at pajero sport since I hv one , im impress that after the hill was hard to grib but it made it regardless of it size n weight
nice video. A quick question Anshuman. What is your take on Force Gurkha extreme? Is it as capable as Thar?
Old jeep must Hai 👌👌
Thumbnail 😍👌👌👍😎😎
Video aak no.😀
Bro in your next off road vehicle video you add tata-safari dicor model
Bring an old school Pajero of 2007-08 model. That'll be a competition.
Hello sir Plz make a video on mahindra Major 4×4 and pajero old
Sir you are very great 😀😀😀
Coolest performance Isuzu pick-up
The coolest and effortless was ISUZU
Both the Fortuners were also effortless, I was driving the Isuzu.
Anshuman is the Isuzu yours?
Pajero sport ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Which engine does the jeep cj 3b have bhaiyya?
Original Hurricane Petrol 75hp
Anshuman Bishnoi Oh awesome
Anas Ali you will be mesmerized by the Popcorn popping sound of this 134 unit, Try to hear a tinge of it around 6:26 or so!
Civilian Jeep Uncivilized Jeeper Yes the engine sounds awesome 👍👍👍
Nice work h bhai ji
sir tata safari storme is powerful, but why it fails in offroading
Abdul Reh man two reasons- driver is slow learner and suspension setup is too soft for offroading.
old fortuner > new fortuner
old endeavor < new Endeavour
hence
new Endeavour > new fortuner
but
resell value of fortuner > than Endeavour
Tata Safari 😂🤣🤣
Pajero are very bouncy 😃
Fortuner are nice performance 👍👍
Nice video
Only Storme is bouncy, bounces like a ball
Anshuman Bishnoi because of soft suspension storme is most supreme in comfort than fortuner and the other cars
I disagree, not a fan of rolly polly soft setup, too much pitching. Terrible handling and body control, utter waste setup for offroad and overlanding.
Sir , oo jeep bahot purani hogi na ?
Aur iron Man (Fortuner) nhi thi , we miss it 🙂
AJIT PATIL This is a 1967 Willys CJ3B, 51 Years matured Jeep! :)
Vcross is the offroading king
Thank you Guys for living our dream ;) please continue sharing more
What is specs of Jeep CJB3 engines??
Original Hurricane petrol engine, 75hp

Momentum is key once momentum breaks its become tuf to climb
Jeep tyres too thin that's why it's not able to climb
And main thing is it doesn't have traction control in it
Awesome video
Bhai new vcross with traction control have u tested
Jeepcj3b couldnt make it coz of non suspension. Its wheel in air causes it to lose traction, hence loss momemtum
NDMS tyres were a big limiting factor, even had to be deflated for this climb.

Its a classic and a keeper, but you will have no big advantage over lighter, modern and easier to maintain last gen Fortuner.
Thank you for you valuable opinion.
Hi sir nice video I love it i what do it
Subscribed !!!
awesome daring full video
Thar is amazing
Fantastical
Very nyc video again ,but where is ironman fortuner ,if it would be there means all the obstacles a piece cake for it was Iam right ☺☺☺
1 car in video is same generation Fortuner, performance of Ironman/ARB Fortuner would be similar on this climb.
Anshuman Bishnoi tq for ur response 😊😊
Vompulu, Brother 70% are Driver's skill and willingness to go! Anshuman Sir has come a Long way and commands the obstacles.

Jeep ne road kharab kar diya, gaddhe bana diye, pajero and safari k liye

That's a wonderful suggestion but then Pajero Sports is the undisputed winner!
I have seen lot of vidoes of urs what i feel I don't know how but Isuzu level is just different better then fortuner, endeviour

Thar ki beizzati 😂😂
Wow….
That jeep cj3b guy should get an offroad suit or something 🤣😂
Sir ur are genius.
Pls give me one chance join ur group atleast one time in my life.
If u wishes
The old model endeavor is very slow.
This isnt a race where faster wins
But powerfull performance 🙂
Ajmal Nazar, it's not slow, I have a luxury of diff lock so why go fast when you can crawl on a obstacle
Why run when u can win walking! And brother, the owner of the Endy admires Johnie Walker and so he Keeps Walking and overcome obstacles like a pro!
Civilian Jeep Uncivilized Jeeper haha
Locker Walker Endy!!!
Try fully original jeep willys 4wd with 8kmpl milage
Anshuman sir u always have an edge over others even with open diffs...whats the tric sirji..

Anshuman Bishnoi sir which gear did u use in this climb ?
Girish Behera
I'll guess and say 2 low.
Agent. K. All are on high range and 2nd gear start and shift down for 1
2nd Gear, Low range, no gear change all throughout
6:29 and so. *Sweet*
Jaihind
That jeep 😄
Kmal
2:15 car name pls
Isuzu
As a safari owner,it doesnt work well offroad,no traction, body weight is far more excessive to power...it wont able to compete foreign
22 year old platform, too tall and top heavy, soft suspension...
Honda crv 4*4 can be tried
sreekanth kortapilly ,it is not a 4x4 ,it is an awd crossover built for winters and is not an off-roader !
5:52 woah ! That was too close.
Isuzu was the best
